"Blake’s was well beyond our expectations. It was immaculate, unique, quaint. Old charm with all you need, a fridge and tea kettle discreetly positioned out of view but ready for use. A comfortable bed and an amazing snug area where we enjoyed our cups of tea. A glorious setting & a taste of Ireland that a chain hotel would never give you. Beside the waterfront and next to pubs and the towns renowned long dock restaurant. We loved everything about the place !"

"Great location adjacent to beach park and historic castle. Pub vibe was great- lots of folks having dinner after day of golf or tourist like us. Good restaurant for dinner. Also a very good breakfast served to hotel guests in morning. Room was surprisingly well updated and modern with comfortable furnishings. Good WiFi. No private parking, but we were fortunate to arrive at 3:45pm (pub and check-in opens at 4pm) and there were only a few spots left on street. May have been a challenge if we had arrived later as pub filled quickly as its a popular restaurant in this town."

"Lovely home, perfect for our large extended family. The upstairs bar/living room was magical for happy hour as you could watch the tides and see out on the river. Horses in the back yard, sand to dug in at the Pier and nearby beaches. Very quiet and peaceful but plenty to do in the area like hiking, boat trips, beaches, cycling and more. The hot tub was a huge hit, especially on the grayer colder days. Host Michelle was so kind and welcoming, even made brown bread and a chicken balti dish the night we arrived. We strongly recommend."
