“We loved the fact that it was isolated away from everyone and everything and all we could hear was nature! We enjoyed the birds singing in the morning and the deer walking around us at night. The night skies are amazing with all the stars shining. We caught some rain which was perfect to watch from the wrap around porch. Only thing I’ll add is the cabin needed a full size refrigerator because I took frozen foods and they only provided a small size fridge.”

“Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. The area is under a burn ban at the moment so we wasn’t able to use firepit at nights walking distance to water hole to soak your feet for the time being Leakey about a 10min drive or so. A convenience store is about a 5min drive. Garner State park is about 10min drive as well. Very……

We felt like we got away from all the hustle and bustle while we were here. The house is comfy and feels like you’re all alone out in the hills, which is just what we wanted. “we loved our stay. it’s very quiet but you can be in Kerrville in like 15 minutes or Bandera in maybe 20-25. we hit HEB and James Avery and stayed put the rest of the time. it’s exactly as peaceful as we were looking for. ”
