This place is on a main road into the Hobart CBD with heavy traffic just meters from the bedrooms. Both bedrooms face out onto the main road with cars, heavy vehicles streaming down constantly and the decibel level is exceptionally high. The vibration from the traffic actually shook the house. 「Great little spot if you want to be in a quiet little town right on a pristine white beach with superb views of the derwent river and mount wellington. We were greeted by 2 dolphins about 5m off the shore as we entered the front door. Place was clean, neat and tidy and had everything you need. Host was great to deal with and nothing was a hassle at all. We’re heading back soon. Thanks.」

「Place was very clean and the beds were fantastic. Parking is on a first come first serve basis between 3 houses. We did not have a problem with this (late September) but if it had been parking would have been very annoying. The size of the hot water tank meant very short showers for three people. Very cute terrace, but hundred plus year old places do have their foibles. An extremely narrow and very steep staircase (by modern standards) made it awkward for luggage and would be unsuitable for...
