「Our four night stay was lovely. The house is located in a beautiful valley with mountains to each side. Cows and sheep graze in the fields around the house. Thoroughly bucolic. The kitchen supplied everything needed. Our bed was comfortable. A bouquet of freshly picked flowers greeted us upon arrival. 「Such a wonderful part of Golden Bay, close to everything, especially Collingwood, Pakawau and incredible Wharariki Beach and Farewell Spit. Great bach which comfortably accommodated our family. Beautifully located between estuary and beach.」

「The communication about the layout of the property could have been better. There is no internal access to the downstairs rooms. There is no WIFI - in this day and age - you really should have WIFI (especially for when the weather is inclement in Golden Bay - which is often is). The TV is just a screen to play DVD's - there is no channel service. We weren't told you can't drink the water until the morning we got the check-in instructions - it was Easter Friday - so we couldn't buy bottled...

「Looks great online but the reality was quite a disappointment. The cabin was not as well appointed as I had thought given the cost, all a bit cheap and plasticky. The floor was sort of buckled and uneven in places and as such the door was a challenge to close. The container got quite hot as the weather was so good, but there was no air conditioning and no fly screens, so opening the windows meant I had to contend with some big bugs late at night (moths and cicadas).
