Gorgeous Ocean View Studio Suite at The Cottage at the Cove Telegraph Cove

10/10 Excellent
"Cozy suite with a beautiful view, comfortable bed and walking distance to Telegraph Cove’s historic wharf. Bob and Joanne were perfect hosts..always available, so knowledgeable and helpful with any questions we had regarding the area, the history, what to do and where to dine. The suite has a small kitchen to cook in and an outdoor grill to use. We took a whale tour (that leaves right from Telegraph Cove) and saw humpbacks, Orcas and sea lions in the wild! Absolutely amazing!"

"Got a cheap rate last minute and the room was more than worth the price. The check in was a little complicated as it was at the pub next door but what can you expect for a tiny little town. While it was nothing fancy, the location was great with access to several food options, the room was clean, and when all you're looking for is a hot shower and good sleep after a week in the bush, it was perfect."

10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect place to stay to explore the north of Vancouver Island. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable and felt welcoming as soon as we stepped in. The kitchen was very well equipped (we particularly appreciated the electric kettle ) and we truly had everything we needed. The hosts, Don and Denise, were just next door and were very friendly and gave us great advice on the local area when we sought them out, but the way the properties are arranged meant we could also be very private and just relax which we really appreciated. The reason for visiting was to get away from everything for a little while but it is worth mentioning that the internet connection was good and allowed us to do some unavoidable online work. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this property."

Coastal Nest Ocean & Mountain View Suite *NEW*

8/10 Good
"A lovely upgraded 2 bedroom unit nicely supplied with everything a small family or two couples would need. Beds were comfortable enough but pillows and linens could be upgraded for a more luxurious feel. Location felt safe and quiet. Excellent information provided about Alert Bay, ferry schedules and sites of interest. Binoculars and camp chairs a nice extra. Our only complaint would be parking. We have 1/2 ton truck difficult to maneuver into parking space. Since the parking is on grass, with no side walk or boardwalk to the front door, packing luggage etc to the front entrance is slippery and soaks your shoes. All in all however, a great value for a well supplied comfortable unit.Would definitely recommend. The Quines"
