"Kudos to the staff here. From the check in clerk Sabrina even the Housekeeper and the ladies that worked very hard to serve breakfast. Everything and everyone was friendly, they spoke and smiled. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had dare I say ever. The bathrooms were spotless, pool area not nasty very clean. The staff made sure no area in the breakfast area looked messed over. The smell in the entire building smelled clean. The beds were spotless and truly felt clean not just soiled washed of that makes sense. We came from out of town never even been to Athens and we are strongly considering coming back and staying here in particular."

" Breakfast was ok but simple. The room was clean and comfortable. The only big problem was we were in town for a wedding and the desk clerk said our reservations were cancelled because we were local even though we were from over fifty miles away. After a heated exchange about their website said nothing about this I proceed to leave but once back in my vehicle the manager came out and apologized stating the clerk was new and reinstated our reservations. Thankfully he was there otherwise our reservations would have been for nothing and a long trip back home."

"Very friendly staff. And clean. The only complaint would be the breakfast it could use some work. The lady keeping up with it was wonderful but the food wasn’t very good! I do believe they put waffle batter in with the country gravy! And the bacon wasn’t cooked good even for hotel breakfast. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean and cozy cabin. Downtown Blue Ridge is about 25 min away and we really enjoyed Harvest on Main, Blue Ridge Creamery and the Twisted Tomato. There are plenty of shops for home goods, mountain and fishing outfitters, and souvenir gift shops."
