Step into a one-of-a-kind lakeside escape where every room tells a story — from a peace-and-music bohemian suite to a Hobbit Hole reading nook — all wrapped in views of Lake Belton, a hot tub under the trees, and an outdoor entertaining space built for making memories of a lifetime.
-------------------------
ABOUT THIS PLACE This isn't your average lake rental. It's a hand-curated, lovingly collected, deeply personal hideaway perched above Lake Belton in Temple, Texas — and there is nothing else like it on the lake.
Inside, you'll wander through bedrooms that feel like different worlds: a bohemian "Peace, Love & Music" suite with stained-glass pendants, tapestry canopies, and a wall of brass platters; an Asian-inspired room with cherry-blossom rugs, antique cabinetry, and silk lamps; a vintage cottage room layered in heirloom plates, gilded mirrors, and antique frames; and a quieter, lake-blue retreat with vaulted ceiling, lakeside artwork, and reading light. Every space has been thoughtfully assembled — no big-box-store furniture, no beige builder-grade anything.
Tucked beneath the staircase, the "Hobbit Hole" reading nook (yes, it has a sign) is piled with pillows under a glowing dome light — the favorite hideout of every kid (and many adults) who walk in.
The lakefront bathroom is its own little ocean, finned with sea-life art, turtle carvings, and turquoise pottery. A second bathroom keeps things modern and spa-like with a tiled walk-in shower.
But the magic really opens up outside.
