“Super close to the lake, beautiful property, amazing host. We have children and they baby proofed the house for us which was super sweet and thoughtful. Overall it was an amazing place to stay and we 100% will be booking again! 10/10 recommend!! they also have the best deal around from what we could find online for boat rentals! ”

“Great little place. Super clean, well equipped, roomy, and comfortable. Timely communication with location address and access. However, we arrived in the dark and sure could have used a bit more info. Here's what we learned:- The address is for the main house. That is NOT the Train House. It is to the left of the main house. - There is no driveway/parking right by the Train House but a sign indicating the spot on the driveway parallel to US 41. It is just a 25 foot walk across the lawn to the……

“First impression wasn’t great. A few of the windows had broken blinds on them. The house smelled like weed when we walked in. We had to air it out. There were two burn stains on the coffee table. The couch had so many stains on it that we never sat on it. It made us question the cleanliness of the bedroom. The sheets smelled clean. The pillows were awful. Highly recommend bringing your own pillows and blanket. Overall, it was fine. We were only booked for a one night stay. It served its purpose……

“If you would like quiet simplicity this certainly is the place for you it was wonderful everything could not have been any better and we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there a hundred times more and the host were wonderful they answered any questions we needed so quickly and we could not have asked for better host”

“This stay was perfect for our little family. The Black Tupelo had everything we needed and was exceptionally comfortable and cozy. Susan and Patrick were phenomenal hosts. They were kind, thoughtful and welcoming which we very much appreciated. “My stay was nice I had trouble getting in the room at first because I forgot to ask for to code. It was spacious and very clean. I loved the shower and the glass dishes as well. I would recommend a dish rack so the dishes are able to dry other than that I loved the getaway.”
