“We booked our stay here about 2 years ago for a family trip from the UK to experience the total eclipse. Katherine was very attentive and answered all queries promptly, advising on things to do etc in the area. The house is lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It had a great porch with a swing chair and rocking chair out front and decking out the back where you can sit and eat in the evening. The house is in easy walking distance of Waxahachie, which is a lovely little town.……

“I was so impressed by this property. First, it was exactly as pictured in fact, the pictures don't do it justice. It is comfy, clean, and adorable. Second, the property provided many of the items that you might forget. I had brought paper towels and toilet paper but there was plenty there and they even provided coffee!!!!! There are so many options to sit and hang. We were able to eat and play games around the table. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back. There were plenty of nice towels and I……

Our suite was like an antique store, so many items to appreciate. Very clean accommodations. Short, easy walk to downtown Waxahachie, great breakfast places. Sweet town.”

“This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan……
