"Host was available and let us change dates due to weather..also gives you a number to call for any reason if you may need help. This tiny home is located at the end of a driveway with ample parking and easy to park. Yes, you really can walk to town within 2 minutes however we had to walk on the side of a road but was little traffic and it was not an issue even with a small dog. This house has everything you need and is extremely clean and neat. The large bed was very comfortable and with this location we never drove in 3 days....walked to dinner twice...to the train and coffee shops. A shout out to Indian Brewing the food is amazing and fresh and mountain high coffee by the train has excellent quiche. You can see from the pictures how clean and cute this small unique home is. "

"I booked this home in Bryson City for a team sales meeting, and it ended up being one of the best rental experiences I’ve had. Everyone on my team commented on how comfortable the beds were and how thoughtfully stocked the house was—from utensils and cookware to the impressive coffee and tea setup. The hosts were also incredibly responsive to any questions or needs we had, which made the stay even smoother.The location couldn’t have been better. We walked to downtown each evening using a convenient path with stairs that leads directly from the house. It made getting around easy and added to the charm of the stay.Outside, the property features a beautiful patio, hot tub, multiple fire pits, and a grill. The setup is perfect for relaxing or gathering as a group. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy it as much as we hoped, but it’s clear that in good weather this space would be a highlight.I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a superb stay in the Bryson City area. It’s comfortable, well-appointed, perfectly located, and supported by excellent hosts."

"Location! Location! Location! The RockHouse is a short , easy walking distance to downtown Bryson City(Polar Express). Our first family Christmas vacation was a big success and a significant part of that result was the RockHouse. Walking into the house, we were immediately comforted with the soft glow of the lights on the decorated Christmas tree. It felt homey right off the rip! The house has all the space, comfort and supplies needed for your stay. The extras:books, games, cozy blankets, sound machines in every room and baby items were used, appreciated and enjoyed. Our family of 11 including 4 small kids (aka Team Chaos) had a great week in Bryson. We thoroughly enjoyed the Polar Express, Darnell Farms, The Bakery, The Honey Bear, the Bryson City Museum, lots of shops along the main streets and the Nantahala River Gem mine. We would highly recommend staying at the RockHouse for your stay in Bryson!"

"Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!"
