The 50-square-meter wooden summer house is located in the quiet “Zonneweelde” recreation park on the coast of Noordwijk, just behind the dunes and the beach. It’s not only ideal for summer stays, but also in the spring and fall. From the park, you can walk to the sea in 15 minutes via a walking and biking trail through the dunes. The summer cottage is ideal for couples and families of up to four people. You have private parking and can enter the bungalow from two sides. The garden surrounds the property, offering privacy with two terraces. Throughout the day, there are spots to soak up the sun as well as places to seek shade. The bungalow is a typical summer home and comes equipped with many amenities. The living room features an open kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The living room is nice and spacious, has a dedicated dining area, and is heated by an original “Bambino” gas stove that warms the entire space. If you’d like to create a cozy atmosphere in the living room, there’s a large wood-burning stove. If you’d like to use the wood-burning stove, we ask that you bring your own supply of dry wood and fire starters. The stove heats up quickly. Don’t forget to open a window to let in a breeze. Viewed from the living room, the room on the left is the double bedroom, and the one on the right has two single beds. Neither room is very large, but both offer a great place to fall fast asleep. After all, you’re sleeping surrounded by nature! For hot water, we have a water heater that provides a continuous supply, and there’s a washing machine in the bathroom. Please feel free to use them. There’s a large rack for hanging laundry outside, and a fold-out rack for indoors. The heart of our little paradise is definitely the terraces, where you can enjoy the sun from morning till night. The garden is a “wild” garden surrounded by grass. Feel free to pick fruit and grapes when they’re ripe. Our gardener, our neighbor René, tends to the garden and stops by for maintenance. He was born and raised in Noordwijk and knows the area very well! We’ve screened off the garden with hedges and vegetation, so there’s plenty of privacy. We hope there will be plenty in bloom during your stay. Every season has its charms, but the surrounding bulb fields are especially unique in the spring. The shed is where our housekeeper, Halyna, leaves the laundry to be picked up by the laundry service.
