“The bar prices were far too expensive. The room was lovely but in the bathroom there was nowhere to put soap and shower gel in shower. No glass to put tooth brushes in”

“There is a very good service. Although my original room has no electricity, they let me have a suite room. Their cooked breakfast is very delicious, especially the smoked salmon.”

“If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant.”

“We had a single night's stay here on a Saturday night. They had 3 functions ongoing, with 2 of them relatively noisy. People outside our bedroom window chatting loudly until nearly midnight. Nothing wrong with people enjoying themselves but there should be advance warning and a discount if the hotel is really full with functions. On the positive, bed was pretty good, room was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. Also, they had 7kw electric car chargers - useful but charging 54p per……

“Super clean very modern and comfy ”

“When we arrived just after 2pm it was like stepping onto the Marie Celeste. We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry. Checking us in, she was very pleasant but hadn’t read my email sent a couple of days before to say we were bringing a dog which didn’t smack of……

“Room was very clean and tidy. The staff are amazing and there is loads of available parking to use. Great quiet location. This hotel is by far one of the best I’ve being to. If you get the chance get it booked.”

“Great property, some TLC needed to the rooms and decor, but the friendly staff made up for it”

“The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)”
