"We arrived around 10 minutes early. Barb was there cleaning. We sat on the deck until she finished. A bit of a mix up as she thought the check in time was 3pm but online it said 2pm. The bach was in a very quiet area, of what used to be a campground. It suited us for what we needed. We all had a great sleep and everything you need is there. Thankyou Barb."

"The bach was clean and the location awesome. We are happy with the typical kiwi bach and everything was comfortable. With the bringing your own linen and doing the cleaning, we thought the price was a bit steep. Enjoyed the balcony with the lovely view and the old school decor was cute. The steps really need addressing as I slipped over on them as it was raining when we left and got some good bruises."

"Great property, spectacular views. Be aware that the master bedroom is a loft and is not soundproof downstairs.Very spacious and lots of great outdoor space especially the games room. Overall wonderful for a family and groups of people reuniting."

"We had a lovely stay in Mangawhai. Great location, quiet cul-de-sac, house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.The couch deserves a special mention — so comfy and perfect for relaxing at the end of the day!Would happily stay again and definitely recommend."
