Housel Bay Hotel

"Hotel was in a lovely position next to the coastal path. Rooms were nice and clean and enjoyed dining as lovely views from the restaurant and breakfast was nice too."

"Hotel has a lovely view and pretty grounds, but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to enjoy them or sit on the terrace etc. The interior of the hotel is very dated and the hallways smelt musty. However, the rooms were perfectly clean and of a good standard, althought the bed was a little uncomfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a power shower that looked new and worked well. There was plenty of car parking. Staff were freindly and breakfast was very good, althought the dining area did not have a great ambience. We did not eat at the hotel in the evening. The hotel is in a rural location so it was necessary to drive to reach town, but the price did reflect this. Falmouth as a whole seems to be very highly priced at present, so although less than the hotels in town, this stay did not feel like great value for money."

"Great place to unwind, very peaceful and close to coastal attractions, lizard, kynance cove, helston, mullion cove and short walk down to Cadgwith cove, we enjoyed our stay here."

The Old Post Office

"The Old Post House was exactly as we had envisaged. Full of character, perfectly positioned over the harbour and very comfortable. Shelley helpfully gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. Parking would have been a challenge had we not been the only ones staying, but there was room in the village. In high season it could be an issue, given the small size of the place. A great place to stay and highly recommended."
