Spacious Zion Cabin, Walk into NP, Near Ponderosa Ranch, Sleeps 9

"Quality Home for Vacation near Zion. Pro's: 1. Communication with the Host was outstanding. 2. Home is well designed, maintained and stocked. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of hot water. 3. less than 10 minutes from the East Mesa Trailhead to Observation Point. - a great hike. at the end you can look down upon Angels Landing. 4. Central location if you want to check out activities in Orderville (Slot Canyon Tours) and Zion National Park. Orderville is about 30 minutes away, Zion/Springdale is 1 hour away. 5. the home is part of Zion Ponderosa Ranch - about a 10 minute drive to the main part of the Ranch - where a Hot Tub, Pool, East Zion Adventures Office, Restaurant, and other activities are available. We utilized the hot tub after each days long hikes. While at the cabin - we BBQ'd, cooked meals in a great kitchen, made coffee, played poker at the dining room table, watched a movie upstairs after a long hike of the Narrows, and enjoyed breakfast. its a solid basecamp, and is a quiet location to recharge after a few days of adventure. Con would simply be that it is 1 hour drive from Zion National Park Entrance, but I think the value/price reflects this. All in all, I would recommend!"

"Beautiful property and cabin! We so enjoyed the atmosphere, dining, animals and our cabin. The claw foot soaking tub was a excellent bonus! Highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Zion."

"This is worth the extra you may pay! It is right at the entrance of the park. Has EV charging (it’s INCLUDED :)), you get discounts to the nearby shops and restaurants! So many perks that make traveling a bit easier. The staff are welcoming and helpful. It’s not as modern as some other hotels but definitely better kept and clean."

"Very well kept property. Check-in process was smooth and staff was great at explaining all the amenities and dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Nice big room and everything worked. Loved the history of the lodge and all the pictures and plaques explaining it."

"The staff was helpful. You can get quarters from from them to do laundry on-site which was nice. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was okay. The outdoor pool and hot tub were nice but a little dirty. Being outside, it happens though."

"Jim and family have created a quaint cabin stay in Mt. Carmel. You can enter Zion from the east entrance and take the Zion Scenic drive to the south entrance and visitor's center. Other than a little road noise, its a very quiet, peaceful spot. The cabins are co.fortable and well stocked if you want to make a light meal. There aren't a lot of dining options nearby, but the included breakfast was good."
