「Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old.

「Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend」

「The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.」

Had a really pleasant stay at the White Horse Inn. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
It’s in a great location right in the heart of Clun, making it easy to explore the village and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
Everything was straightforward and well looked after, and the whole place had a friendly, welcoming feel.

「We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. 」
