Found this "Bulul or Bul-ul" standing guard over some rice terraces in the Cordillera, Mountain Province. The Ifugaos believe that the spirit of the rice god resides inside these sculptures. A "mumbaki" or shaman performs rituals to invoke the spirit of the rice god to guard and protect the rice terraces and the granaries to ensure an abundant harvest and invoke protection against any catastrophe. #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines
