「Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. 「I loved our stay. The hotel is located in easy to find address, shops and restaurants close by.」

「When we arrived we found out the pool was closed pending a Health department inspection. After talking with the manager it was because it wasn't clean enough and the health department gentleman couldn't see the drain. They had the cleaner in for a long time but the pool was still closed when we left. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was a waffle maker with thin runny batter that was awful. The orange juice was old. It is right next to a Flyin' J truckstop/scale that shared the road....

The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean, smelled good, and had a comfortable bed and great AC. I would stay again.」
