This cabin is nicely secluded despite being right off of a main road. The couch was comfy and the gas fireplace was a warm welcome after a day of hiking. There were several things about the place that need some help. First, the gate to enter and exit the property did not work for exiting, we had to get out of the car, enter the code from the outside of the gate for it to open, then get back in the car and drive out. The gate did not close all the way, rendering it basically useless for safety purposes. Second, there are likely several animals living in/under the house. We could hear them all hours of the day but especially at night, chewing and digging. Not exactly comforting or relaxing. Also, the bathroom is in a state of disrepair. The towel rack has been ripped out of the wall, the face towel holder is also off the screw and sitting on top of it, and the bottom wood piece of the vanity is just gone. Lastly, a lot of the linens/towels were dirty or stained upon arrival. It seems like the host needs to take a break from hosting to address some repair issues and then offer bookings again.

This cabin was very nice and everything we thought it would be for our wedding. Beautiful scenery, host was great, quick responses and very accommodating. They made things easy for us! Would definitely love to come back to this cabin!

The property is lovely and far enough removed that it is very private. The house has ever we needed and the game room was a great bonus. Jon was very helpful and responsive, which we appreciated. It's about 25 minutes from central Albuquerque and an hour or so from Santa Fe, so the location was nice. The llamas next door were a treat!

The cabin is very accommodating. The property is private, except the neighbor's llama that came to the fence for a visit. :-) There were some conditions that needed attention and the manager, and owner, made immediate solutions. I would recommend staying at this cabin.

Secluded Mountain Cabin

Close to Albuquerque, but feels like a secluded mountain cabin. Very well equipped property. Gorgeous surroundings. Perfect weekend getaway.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

Beautiful cabin in the woods. In the mountains but close enough to ABQ for food and shopping. Fun and functional. We had a surprise snow partway through our stay that was beautiful. The central fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Great amount of space and great parking

A Cozy Getaway

We needed a spot close enough to Albuquerque to meet with people for work but far enough out that we could enjoy a little quiet. This spot was great with spacious rooms and a fun game room where we could unwind. Absolutely would stay again!

Perfect Set Up in a Beautiful Spot

The Cabin was amazing, a lot bigger than it looks from the pics and the game room is such a bonus... Well appointed with a bunch of cool surprises including, stuff for smores and a couple of local beers/wine. My host was very responsive and got back to me immediately with any concerns or I had. I really enjoyed Tijeras, and can't wait to come back and see more! Thanks Jon for sharing your space with us!

We were very pleased with the accommodations and property overall. We look forward to booking this location again!! The hot tub was supposed to have been drained and cleaned, but it did not appear to have been as it as debris/grit in bottom of tub and was cloudy in appearance. The host was very helpful and accomidating.

"Just Right" Cabin

Every year six friends get together for a "friendly" reunion. We pack in supplies for a few days of off-the-grid relaxation, contagious laughter, fabulous food, and a bit of the great outdoors. This year we stayed at the Cozy Cabin in Tijeras. The front porch was our meeting place - plenty of chairs, pillows, and room for all of us. We enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor dining table, and the bird watching. We liked the fact that Albuquerque wasn't too far in case of emergency or we needed to make a beer run. The cabin is close to the freeway, and you can hear the traffic, but it's not too bad...in fact, it lulled me to sleep one night. The kitchen is nicely appointed, there were plenty of towels and toilet paper, the beds were comfortable, and the game room was a hit! Jon and Kendra were easy to get in touch with; they were communicative and responsive. We'd highly recommend the Cozy Cabin - it's just right!

Amazing location-very private and gorgeous!

We enjoyed smores out at the firepit, movies in the living room, games in the game room. It was a wonderful stay and I think we will be returning yearly. Great experience and host was amazing.

Such a great place to stay!

Girls Weekend

This property is so cute and clean and very comfortable. We had the best time. The mountains were so green and picturesque. There were eight of us that were from the same town growing up. Everyone commented on how beautiful the property was. The management was quick to reply when we needed anything. The only negative was the hot tub did not work and they came out on Saturday to fix it, but it did not work for long. We definitely recommend it and will definitely go back!

Great cabin in Tijeras/Sedillo

We were visiting family in Tijeras and needed a spot for several of us to stay for our visit. This cabin was very well-appointed and so clean! We felt very much at home when we entered the cabin. The beds and baths were great. Although the cabin is not super large, we felt that we had ample space. We also felt like we were far away from neighbors etc. The only detraction was some background I-40 noise, but it didn't bother us much. All in all, a great place and we'll be back!

Amazing, beautiful, fun

We booked this property to host our wedding! (A small affair) outdoor space was perfect, the house is lovely and has a lot of thoughtful and quality upgrades and fratures. The game room kept the kiddos that came entertained for hours! Wound up being the perfect place for a perfect weekend!

Highly Recommend!

Loved this property, especially the hot tub and the game room. Just a short drive from Albuquerque but it feels super quiet and private. Communication with the owners was great. Would love to stay here again!
