The owners were lovely people and put my daughter and I into a 2 bedroom unit as they had it spare. Very clean and tidy and comfortable beds. Hot pools are amazing.

The hot pool is good and open whole day. No amenities in bathroom but it’s ok for me because I had my own. since they do not put hair dryer in room so had to contact the host late night to ask which I felt bad too so hopefully they will put one in each room in future.

Wir waren 6 Wochen ab Januar 2019 in ca. 22 Hotels und Motels und hatten vergleichsweise folgende mehr oder weniger positiven Eindrücke, die wir hiermit für die jeweilige Unterkunft abgeben bzw. in gleicher Form bewerten. Wir buchten die Hotels von zu Hause aus sehr lange im Voraus und buchten später die Motels immer jeden Tag am Abend für den nächsten Tag bzw. für den nächsten Reisezielort per ipad (was meist gut klappte). Alle Unterkünfte wählten wir möglichst mit Pool in Preislage 60-120 € aus. Je Hotel/Motel benoten wir nun 1. Lage, 2. Preis-Leistung, 3. Sauberkeit, 4. Pool Letztlich kommt die Angabe, ob wir dort nochmals übernachten würden, mit „ja/nein“ und beschreiben sowie ggf. eine Auffälligkeit 1. gut, 2. mangelhaft, 3. befriedigend, 4. nicht vorhanden, jedoch mit privatem, urigem Thermalpool - freundlicher Besitzer, aber keine Heizung wobei wir am Morgen nur 6 Grad Außentemperatur hatten - zudem war ein Thermalpool unerträglich heiß und der nächste Pool ein paar Grad zu kühl (ändern nicht möglich wg. gr. Wassermenge)

The hotel was exactly what was advertised...i love the retro feel and atmosphere... Everything there was good. I recommend you take time out to explore the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were the only ones and had full use of the facilities after doing the Tongariro Circuit. Was so good to soak bodies and wash:dry off clothes in the laundry and dry room. Very reasonable price. Thank you to the management for being so accommodating and friendly.

I’ve never stayed in a motel before so it’s hard for me to compare, however these were my impressions: Staff were welcoming Area is very quiet Property is ok, felt clean but not very up to date There were some hot pools in a shed, didn’t feel particularly inviting The rooms had bug nets over the windows but at night there were many bugs in the room Temperature was too hot at night, the rooms would really benefit from air conditioning Got very cold by morning For the price I don’t think it was great value for money Not sure what the alternatives in the area are. There didn’t appear to be much in the way of choice for actual hotels and it felt like a lot of the people visiting were there on the mega cheap.

Just what we needed
