「We were living in the room close to the main road. It could be quite haunting during the night and I was almost sleepless during the first night. And I have to leave all the lights on to make it looks like people are awake. I tried to use the hot bath but the room is locked all the time. Hotels.com is definitely responsible to manifest a 10 out 10 rating in this hotel, it’s simply not that good! Strongly won’t suggest ladies and kids to stay alone. 」

「The man that ran the place was very kind and straight to the point heaps of utilities in the kitchen so you wouldn’t have to bring a whole pan or potato masher, the kitchen and toilet are shared but it was still great. The heater was warm and me and my friends had a great time 」

「Wonderful accommodation! Very clean, warm and comfortable. Has everything you would need and few extra basics which is a lovley touch. Beds were very comfortable. Helpful and quick communication. Thanks for a wonderful stay!」

「Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. 「We have stayed at many Book A Bach locations around NZ, and this was by far the best. Everything clean and in working order. Instructions were all clear. My family had a fabulous time, and we will definitely be back!」
