「Excellent choice for our family, we loved the board games as well」

「We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. 」

「Everything we needed was in the house. It was not only a house. It was a home. Cozy, warm, thoughtful. We did not feel cold during the winter. Location was accessible to dining areas and New World grocery. Kitchen was complete and have enjoyed cooking, too. 「We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted!
