I come to Tooele 4 times a year for the last 15 years. Great place to stay, closer and quieter than the others. Could use some more protein choices for breakfast. Otherwise superb.

The property itself was nice and clean. However the staff was awful. We had booked and paid for a king deluxe suite through Expedia the day prior to check in and got a marvelous rate for it. When we arrived to check in the lady at the front desk informed us that the suite we had reserved was indeed available but that we had not paid enough for it. She called her manager for direction. After her conversation with him she proceeded to tell us that the room was not available (even though she had repeatedly said to him in their 5 minute phone conversation multiple times that the room was available) but attempted to console us by assuring us that we would get a room just not that one. She was extremely perplexed that we had paid so little for it. After 15 minutes of torment with excuses and blaming circumstances and Expedia for our not being able to have the room we actually had booked and paid for in advance. She finally gave us keys to a room. I have never stayed at a Microtel before and don’t know that I ever will again. That was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at any hotel.
