Perfect location for what we needed for a weekend trip to Torquay. Hotel was perfectly located between the princess theatre for a Saturday evening trip to see Derren Brown and a Sunday morning trip to Puregym

Great location for the South Coast Path. Bus stop to Torquay and Shaldon 3 minutes walk away. Very helpful staff. Room basic but clean with tea and coffee. Main village and cliff top with pubs a five minute walk. Easy to park in side streets even in August.

Clean room but bathroom could do with an update. Staff were really friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was no parking, it's a free for all on the road and we had to park in the next road! Apart from that it was great 👍

Really nice hotel at the price point. Friendly helpful staff and excellent buffet breakfast. Parking was a bit tricky as it is on the road outside and fairly full whilst we were staying but we always managed to find a space. Very good location for beach / shops etc. Double bed seemed a bit small but comfy enough. Would certainly stay there again and will recommend to friends.

Cheap hotel, un comfy bed but not the worst I’ve slept on. Room small bathroom like an airplane toilet. Peeling paint, food looked good but we ate out. Entertainment was cheesy fun. BR drinks quite pricey. Parking terrible but we got lucky. Strange people hanging around i think seasonal staff maybe.

Obviously for £40 a night I wasn't expecting much . Double bed was great. The room big enough. Great shower . Nice size TV in room. Could hear talking though from room below even with fan on and white noise from mobile. You do hear doors banging late at and early in the morning. Worth staying if you on a budget. Didn't try the food but looked good .

Staff were amazing lady on front desk was brilliant barman really nice Didn't use dinning room but food looks good Room needs a little more care found items from previous guests left Also don't replenish items have to go and ask at reception for any extra No onside parking did manage to park in the street and as we used the local buses wasn't an issue but high summer maybe isn't great Evening entertainment every night was a bonus bar prices reasonable

All staff on reception in the Friday night and Saturday at 10pm ish was helpful and kind. Bar man on Saturday very friendly. Hot weather so hot rooms. Had a dab but still hot. But still nice and good parking around and easy walk. Would use again.
