“We were a group of 12 friends. Easily accommodated all of us. Well equipped holiday home, good appliances, cooking equipment, kitchen utensils, kitchen ware etc were well stocked for our big group. Stay could have had been improved by a few more towels and toiletries. There were very thin towels - 1 each for 4 days. A small packet of very cheap soap for each person. There is no dryer in the property - a washing machine but no dryer so could not easily dry towels. In the kitchen there was……

“One of the best place we stayed over the last 10 years roaming around with our boys.We love the place so much that we mostly stay in enjoying the view while the fireplace keeps us warm and cozy. The spa is great. Everything we need for a lovely stay bonding with our boys. Definitely will be back. Thanks for having us.”

“It was a lovely little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The property had what we needed. The only thing lacking was the hole in the fly screen on the back door which let the flies in. The place itself was beautiful. I would go back.”

“Fantastic unit in central Port Fairy. It had everything you would need for a short stay. We did not use the kitchen but there were plenty of pots etc to cook a meal. Close to coffee shops and bakeries. Spotlessly clean and a fantastic bed. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Comfortable and relaxing stay for us and our doggies, (2 little pugs). The location was fantastic, close to beach and Whale watching platform, with only a short walk. Property was an open space that was cosy, clean and comfy for us all, having a grass enclosed area connected with easy assess was great for them and us. Looking forward to our next stay.”

“We had such a lovely time at Simons 1850s Goldies cottage.Perfect for us, and our 2 big dogs loved the big fenced yards.They gave Simon plenty of licks when he came to show us the workings of the gate etc.We hired bikes and it was an easy 1.6km ride to town along the old rail trail.Watched some lovely sunsets and enjoyed one of the 3 fire places in the cottage on several nights.We certainly hope to return in the future and maybe do the whole rail trail from Port Fairy to Warnambool”
