「The property is located on the outskirts of Tannersville. The location is very close to hiking including the iconic Kaaterskill Falls. Unfortunately, the location is overshadowed by a very disappointing property. Its essentially run down motel in the back of a closed restaurant with a for sale sign out front. The building was not very clean and no staff were on site. The pictures are also a bit misleading as the restaurant is now closed and the grounds have deteriorated since the closure. The...

「We pulled up to a restaurant inn with not a soul in sight. The restaurant was closed with a for sale Realastate sign outside. There place had broken windows and a side back door to access . We walked in to find a dark room with an old piano . We went upstairs to see the room and the only thing in the rooms posted was the white sheets and blankets . There was a small area with a microwave outside our door . The pictures had an outside sitting for guests that was not the case . We left and ended...

「Over several years of renting in the Valatie area, this house was the nicest place we’ve stayed. It’s well appointed and has a really nice view of the lake. The owner is very responsive to any issue that arises. Hope to return!」

「The house is very large and the bedrooms are generous in size and easily accommodated our party of 8. We appreciated the garage parking for two cars, the welcome note and the bottle of wine from the host. Stanley was very responsive to my questions and was very accommodating to ensuring that the driveway was plowed and the garbage from the previous tenants was picked up despite the snowstorm. The Keurig coffee was a welcome addition to our stay. Please note that purchasing your own drinking...

「Sure looked and sounded a lot better in the online description. The one good thing about my stay was the excellent communication with the host. The rest, well, I’ll try to stay polite and just list the facts. 1. There’s a huge For Sale sign out front and an abandoned restaurant next to the rooms. 2. Room needs updating badly.3. Windows don’t open or close. The hardware is either broken or frozen. 4. One window stays wide open, it has no screen so I had to jury rig a towel over the open window so...

「Excellent spot! This is the third time in five years that we’ve stayed and it never disappoints! Great fishing, swimming and kayaking with water that’s at least 20ft. deep right off the dock. (yes, I measured) ;-) Highly recommend!」

「This property is wonderful! It is obvious this home is well loved and appreciated. The host is super responsive, it is well stocked, accurately described, and very clean. We will rent this again.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cliffside Chalet! The home is so thoughtfully curated and beautifully maintained. It is clearly well loved! The view is spectacular, easily enjoyed from the hot tub. The home is well situated nearby many hiking trails and hunter Mountain. It’s also right across from Deer Mountain Inn, a fabulous restaurant and bar!We cannot wait to plan another visit!」

「Great home in a great location! We enjoyed the open spaces and gorgeous views during our weekend away. The house was in perfect condition and was very kid friendly. The crib was much appreciated for our one year old and my 3 year old loved the play room. We will definitely be staying again in the future! 」
