Mountain Escape - Trout Lake Waterfront, Adirondack Park Area

"We really enjoyed our stay — the house was beautiful, spotless, and well maintained. The view was stunning, and we loved all of the activities available nearby. It was a great place to relax and unwind.The host was fantastic. He responded very quickly and kindly accommodated both an early check in, and late check out for us at no additional cost. The only downside was that the loose dog from the neighboring cabin kept coming onto our property throughout the stay and reacting negatively towards us. We were traveling with our two dogs, and it created a few uncomfortable moments where we had to leave the area quickly to avoid any negative interactions. It would be helpful if the neighboring property secured their dog to ensure all guests (and pets) can enjoy the space peacefully.Overall, it’s a wonderful home in a gorgeous location — we just hope this small issue is addressed for future guests."

"The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our Fall stay for rest and relaxing. The views every morning and evening were gorgeous. We love that the cabin is pet friendly so our dogs could join us for the week. We used the hot tub almost every evening to watch the sunset which were amazing. The amenities were outstanding which included use of the pontoon boat. There are also a few trails that you can walk to without having to get into your car. Our favorite was the Trout Trail that took you to the Boy Scout bay area. Lake Placid was about 2 hours away so we took a day trip to there. Beautiful scenery. Overall, we felt at home during our stay and loved the area. So peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend."

"Property was even better than expected! Exactly what my family was hoping for. We had a great time fishing, boating and relaxing by the fire, with an amazing view. Property was clean and had the all the necessities we needed. Owners were kind and accommodating. We will be booking again for next year! "

"Check in was a breeze. Our host George was easy to reach and communicate with. The house is roomy and comfortable. It is close to shops and Uncle Sam's boat tours in Alexandria Bay. The house is off a quiet, picturesque road making it a nice place to get away and relax. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely rent out the house again "
Waterfront Camp Black Lake

"The location of this spot of very unique! Our teen boys really enjoyed kayaking the bay and caught lots of fish close to the house. We enjoyed the privacy and quietness of the area. I do wish I knew ahead of time that you need to bring your own water for cooking. There is water at the bathhouse and camper but both are lake water. We had to run into town to get water for cooking so that we didn’t use all of our drinking water and it was a bit inconvenient not knowing ahead.The outside shower did not have heat which was a bummer, as we had two small families staying and the water was way too cold to use so we all had to take turns in the camper shower which was tough.The cabin was beautiful and the porch which made up for the water issues. "

"Beautiful home with a gorgeous river view. We had plenty of space and the location was within reach of all the places we wanted to see. Scott, our host, was quick to respond to our needs and I appreciated that. All in all..a great family get together was had by all!"
