“Everything from check in, check out, communication and amenities was excellent during our stay. Laurie and her husband Pat were amazing property managers. It snowed while we were staying and Pat plowed the driveways and salted the walkways. We forgot a few items and Laurie was kind enough to mail them back to us. I can’t say enough about our wonderful trip. We’ll definitely try to stay here again. ”

“We had a very pleasant time at the property; a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous pond and 2 geese families (1 with brand new goslings!) to greet us. Although the weather didn't cooperate to enjoy sitting in the yard, or enjoying the fire pit area we still had a good time. It was so helpful to have a good amount of space around us, for our time together that felt welcome and expansive too. Because the weather was damp and grey, I think we could've used a little more warmth in furnishings and……

“If you are looking for a place in the Albany area for a group of friends / family, this is it. The host was incredibly responsive and really opened his house for us. Plenty of room to relax, hang out, play pool, etc. The kitchen has everything you can think of, and the bathrooms are like what you would experience at a high end hotel. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for us, so we were not really able to use the outside much. That said, it has a great set up as the pictures……

“Great house for 3-4 families. Lots of space and beds. Nice bathroom layout was very convenient. Kitchen and Dining room made for great dinners. Owner was very responsive. Skiied 3 days at Hunter and would recommend.”

“We had a wonderful time during our stay at the property. The cozy farmhouse is in an idyllic setting with all the amenities necessary to host a large group, for both meals and leisure. Whether we were out exploring the grounds or inside by the fire we had very enjoyable time. The host was accommodating of our pets and we appreciated the easy checkin and check out. She was extremely communicative and made our stay comfortable. We would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful……

“This property is stunningly beautiful! So peaceful. Our kids ran wild with all the space and we walked to say hello to the horses every day. My kids were also able to take riding lessons while we were there. It’s a great location for activities to keep you busy but set far enough away for quiet and privacy. We will definitely try to get back soon! ”

I will definitely recommend this home for any future visits . It was about 20 minutes from Windham mountain. ”

“This house is better (and larger) than it looks in the photos. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen and even the bathrooms are enviably renovated. We did have a minor issue, but the hosts handled it promptly and kindly. We'd definitely stay here again. Bonus points for a ton of fireflies and deer.”

“We were so excited to come up to see James Taylor at Tanglewood. This house was perfect, just 20 mins away. The layout was nice and open. We didn't make much use of the kitchen since we were there for a short stay but it was updated with nice appliances. There wasn't any air conditioning but the fans were good and the house was comfortable. ”

“We were a group of moms and sons (high school seniors) who stayed here for a long weekend. This place was perfect for us - well appointed and accommodating. It had everything we needed (beach towels, linens) and more (martini glasses, well-equipped kitchen)! The quality of everything was spectacular. We could have stayed here indefinitely with the hot tub, pool, grounds, fire pit, etc. We can't wait to come back here again!”

“The pictures do not do this home justice. The house is just beautiful, roomy, and plenty of beds and rooms. Everything in the home is clean, fairly new, well stocked, and working well. Strangely enough there is no microwaves but that didn't effect us at all because we had a professional cook with our group. There was nothing we needed in the home that we had to go get. “Everything was clean and welcoming for our arrival. Our host was friendly and helpful. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful.We appreciated the chocolate and granola bars after a long day of travel. It was a very nice touch. “Booked this for my bachelorette party as a getaway retreat style vacation for myself and 5 friends. The gathering spaces were perfect and the pool and hot tub were so nice to have. Beautiful view out the back door and even watch a doe and lamb hang out multiple days. It was very relaxing to be here. Please note that getting Ubers and taxis are challenging in this area if you plan to go to Hudson or other locations, we somehow did it, but it wasn’t easy! Otherwise, it’s a great place to gather……
