“It is very compact but the space is adequate. There’s very little storage space in the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped (though no cafetière) but not well laid out. That being said it’s comfortable - especially the sofa. It’s also well placed in Cemaes for easy access to the high street / beach and car parking is about 100m away. The patio is a lovely sun trap. ”

“The apartment was a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark. Whilst it had everything we needed it was dated and could have benefitted from a deep clean, cobwebs & mould around the windows. The windows also condensed a lot in the morning. None of the heaters worked and only two of the electric storage heaters worked. So we had to prioritise the children’s bedrooms over our bedroom and the lounge. One of the sockets in the kitchen kept blowing the fuse when we tried to use the kettle. When……

“Really lovely place. Accommodated our horribly late arrival. Wish we had had time for breakfast but room was spot on and incredibly comfortable.”

“We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !”

“Lovely old pub with good rooms available, Gary is a nice friendly host and really cares that you enjoy your stay. We had our evening meal and drinks there which were good quality and value for money. The breakfast was top notch and you helped yourself to good quality coffee and toast. I've already booked a stay here again.”

“This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.”

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Haus. 7 Minuten Entfernung zum Fährhafen. Ideal auf dem Weg nach Irland.”

“We were a family. It was a great place to stay for the night while waiting for the ferry to Dublin. Fun time in the restaurant-pub on trivia night. Excellent breakfast.”

“Well appointed close to all facilities and beach. The cottage was well stocked but showing signs of wear and tear which you expect with high occupancy , unfortunately the main concern was the water temperature it was tepid and never got hot which meant cold baths and showers therefore we didn’t use the hot tub who wants constant cold showers for that reason alone we would not use the property again or recommend it.”

“Great place to stay in Holyhead. Clean, comfortable and the common area was great for relaxing. Tea, coffee, snacks, microwave and fridge provided in the common area. Great pizzas close by as well. The host was also very knowledgeable and friendly.”
