"After staying at this property for over 8 years this is my last time, at least until the cleaning issues that they have on this rooms are handle properly. I stayed in unit 504W and the room was filthy with dirty bathroom and toilets, the unit floor were super dirty, I arrived around 9pm and to my surprised the bathrooms had mold all over th place and it appears that who ever clean the floors put the trash on the toilets and forgot to flush it. At that time my wife had to clean the bathrooms so the kids could take a shower and clean the floors as well. I’m not paying for two very expensive nights and having to deal with this kind situations."

"Great location for us - easy access to the beach, sloppy Joe’s and Caddy's are walking distance along the beach/boardwalk. Our favorite restaurant Middle Grounds Grill is also within walking distance along with several other places to eat/drink/listen to live music. Hotel was ok. Amenities in the room were adequate-nice big TV, a/c, full size fridge/freezer, ice maker. We stayed 1 night and enjoyed the sunset from our balcony. It was a good value for us. "

"The a/c wasn’t working. I asked for a fan, but they didn’t have any. There was a party of college kids next door that were making noise till 2 am. There was also mold in the tiny bathroom, & dried food on the kitchen cabinets! They charged an additional $50 fee for our dog, ( that was not in the original costs for a pet-friendly hotel!) Staff were very friendly though."

"We have stayed at the Bilmar several times . The area. nearby has much to offer. for restaurants an nightlife They offer beach towels and chairs that are easy to carry out to the beach"

"Hostile staff who couldn't give a hoot that your stay is awful. I was hard eyed by a bald staff person when checking in and he wasn't even checking me in. Just staring at me like I don't belong there. And oh yes broken toilet and coffee maker that doesn't work. Yr paying $200 a night to stay in a cheap motel that happens to be on a gorgeous lagoon which is pretty much the only good thing about this place. Big avoid."

"This place was different from what we were use to but honestly was a great stay. It’s not on the beach but it has access to the beach literally seconds away. Would deff stay here again. "

"Very surprised by all the positive comments. We had hair and hairs in the sheets. The 2nd bed, a worn sofa with a very thin mattress, was not made. I was told to do it myself with sheets in the drawer. There too, hairs in the sheets. 160€ a night and you have to make your bed. I started doing it and lifting the mattress: candy, dirty socks, crumbs, one piece... (see photo). Months of filth. The soil is dusty as desired. The cushions of the white stained sofa (I don't want to know more). The coffee table is full of crumbs. The bathroom ditto, the contour of the sink has not been cleaned for a while. The room "closes" with a digicode. The motel is open on the street and there is no one at the reception after 7 p.m. We were not reassured in addition to being disgusted. The manager could not make a decision when the refund of the room paid 10 minutes before despite everything we encountered. Amazing. There is no one in charge. If you had a problem, you will be alone. Like what, the comments and high ratings are really not a guarantee of quality in the end. We obviously left without being sure of being reimbursed. Too many health risks, safety... NB: I am able to let a comment beacuse the hotel finally does not cancel my booking… discusting."
