Couldn't connect to the wifi and any bathroom didn't have any hand soap. Messaged the host and got a response within 2-3 hours. If you are planning to visit please pack towels beddings toiletries as they are not supplied. Host messaged ahead of time that these aren't supplied. We had a good experience other than above two things.

Property is in a nice location with river view and close to Campbellford. Pool was small but very clean. Cabins, however, are old, run-down and not very clean. Ceiling fan didn't work, light bulbs were missing, some windows would not open and fire pit was not cleaned out from previous guests prior to our arrival. Cabins and property need a freshening and fixing up.

This was the worst cottage experience we had. Upon arrival we noticed a blood stain on the mattress and pillow and messaged the owner but he couldn’t do anything until the next day so we slept on the couch. Next day we only got a mattress cover arnd 5 pm instead of he changing the mattress and pillow for us. So didn’t even use the pillow. Next day after while eating breakfast we heard a continuous gurgling sound from the bathroom. When I went to inspect it. The sewage was backing up from toilet & shower to the living room with poop water. Immediately, I message the owner but didn’t get any answer till 1 pm. When we did get a msg he won’t able to do anything. Asked us to check out and he will refund our full money. But today is 12 days and I still have got my refund yet. Our Labour Day long weekend was ruined for our family of 5 with 6 old and puppy. All thanks to the owner for his negligence to maintain his property well.

Always a Great Time at Catch-More Resort. Our family had a great time on the pontoon boat fishing. Cottage was very clean and fresh. The host’s John and Mara are always there to help when you need it. See you next year.

Ce « resort » est en fait un terrain de camping dont les photos ne représentent en rien l’état délabré des lieux. Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits en famille au chalet #6. Arrivée à la noirceur, la lumière extérieure ne fonctionnait pas, la porte extérieure ne se refermait pas complètement, ni ne pouvait se barrer, le plancher du chalet est pourri à plusieurs endroits et menace de défoncer à tout moment (notamment en face du lavabo de « cuisine »), les matelas et les oreillers sont tous tachés à plusieurs endroits et n’étaient pas protégés de housse tel que l’annonce le stipulait, la porte coulissante de la salle de bain est tombée, le micro-ondes ne chauffe pas, etc. À notre réveil le premier matin, nous avons pu voir que les roulottes s’enlignaient à 10 pieds de notre entrée, les chaises Adirondak autrefois rouges étaient limitées à 2, la table de pique-nique était pourrie à plusieurs endroits, le quai juste à côté est finalement inaccessible, etc. Nous avons visité le parc à jeu d’enfants dont le module menace lui aussi de tomber. Nous avons donc continuer aux kayaks et paddleboards ensevelis sous les branches et les herbes, pour constater qu’aucun format enfant n’était disponible. Les vestes adultes étaient séchées par le soleil et ne sont plus sécuritaires. Vers 11h00, le soleil tape sur la toiture en tôle et transforme le chalet en vrai four malgré l’air climatisé. La température devait atteindre les 37 à 40 degrés à l’intérieur. À fuir absolument.

We really enjoyed our stay at Catch More Resort. Very peaceful setting, loved being able to sit and look at the lake and listen to the birds. Liked the availability of the kayaks, canoes and swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated that we had our own fire pit, the wifi was great and there was lots of parking. Cottages are a little close together, but it wasn't an issue. Be prepared to bring your own Roku or laptop to connect to the TV. The only complaint is that the kitchen window desperately needed to be cleaned, it was full of cobwebs and dead bugs.

This is a cute cottage! We arrived rather late so it was dark when we walked to it through the yard. The front door code was unnecessary, as the door wasn’t locked. The space was quaint and quite clean. The A/C worked great, needing to be turned down. Fortunately my son was tall enough to stand on my bed to reach the buttons, as I wasn’t able to. The beds were comfortable after a long day of driving. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary items. We only needed some cutlery, kettle, and the toaster. The property was located on a beautiful lake. The dock closest to our cabin was private, but there was another one further down that was available to fish off of. Beware of the sliding door on the bathroom-it fell off the track when my son was opening it and almost took out my other son. My oldest was able to place it back on the track, but it could have easily hurt someone. The games room looked better in the pictures. The Shuffleboard table had no sand on it, thus was unplayable. My kids enjoyed the Foosball table. We didn’t swim, but the water looked clean. It does look bigger in the pictures. We were unable to lock the deadbolt at night from the inside, nor the next day when we left for a time using the provided code. This misalignment is likely why it was not locked when we arrived. We chose to leave and stay elsewhere the 2nd night where there was a working lock. Overall, if the lock worked and the bathroom door didn’t fall off, I’d have given it 4 stars.

The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. But it was great to have ours in the yard with us. The beds are super comfortable - Endy mattresses, we were pleasantly surprised. The shower head position could use some work (a rainfall shower head would make more sense with the size of the shower), but thats as to be expected at a cottage. Would definitely book here again!
