If you are looking for frills this cottage is not for you but if you are looking to relax and enjoy being right on the lake then this is it. We wanted to get away from it all,relax and spend quality time together and with our two dogs and that is exactly what we did. When we arrived the dogs ran straight to the lake and swam. “Exactly what we were looking for ... a wonderful charming cottage with everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone and the bunkies are great for spreading out. We love the fall and did enjoy a little quieter time of year. All had a great time in the water and we did some fishing ... everybody had a great time. Will make this a regular family gathering !!”

“Crystal Palace Cottage is in a beautiful location, with great lake access, and tons of space. We visited with 10 adults and 10 kids (ranging from 8 months to 7 years) and there was room for everyone. While the kitchen is a bit small, the BBQ helps with cooking for large group. Communication was the owner was easy, and overall everyone had a really nice time.”

“This property is perfect if your looking for a reasonably priced stay that is located directly on the water. We stayed in cottage#2 and the place has been recently renovated with very comfy beds and ac in every rm. If you want to pay 3 star prices but want 5 star amenities this place isn't for you but your okay with 3 star value this place hits it out of the park. note swimming is an issue with all the weeds ”

“We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. We enjoyed all the amenities. We particularly loved the indoor hot tub, private dock, the firepit, the large kitchen, and the pool, which was a big hit with the kids. The surroundings were serene and quiet, but there wasn't too much privacy as the property was very close to the neighbours. The hosts were very helpful and quick in answering all our questions, and even accommodated all our requests, which made our experience extra special. Thank……

“Great cottage in a quiet location, very peaceful. The host was very responsive and welcoming. The cottage had everything needed for a comfortable stay, the only thing is it said 4 bedrooms, but there are 2 bdrms and 2 more couches in the living room, so our sleeping arrangements were not as originally intended, but it worked.We hope to be back again! ”

“I was very impressed with the setup and the decor of the apartment. It was very convenient to be steps away from the bridge and the main street. Was very grateful that it was pet-friendly. My dog was very comfortable. One thing I would recommend is to add a light in the walkway to the apartment. It was very uncomfortable to be alone walking between the two buildings in the dark. ”

“The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. The upstairs is very odd with a railing around a hole in the middle. Pretty much a waste of space. The railings should be……
