Perfect location at Trier old town.
Location is perfect. Close to every famous points. Room is clean and comfortable. Service is good. The only down side is the breakfast. But providing coffee , tea and water at looby is preety good.

Nice stay
Very convenient location, and nice historical building. Everything was nice, except the parking space was very limited. The parking was fulled all the time, you have to be very lucky to get one space, and don't go out anymore, otherwise you have problem when you come back.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I really liked the free coffee, tea and water and apples near the reception. Room was very clean, high standard. It was a nuce touch that they offered a voucher for a free drink of choice if you did not need daily room service, helping environment and guests at the same time. Would definitely recommend.

Not as good as previous stays
A nice hotel close to the city center of Trier. We’ve stayed here before and been very happy. This time it wasn’t as pleasant. There was a strange and rather fusty odour in our room and also some annoying sound coming from the bathroom (probably the ventilation) which we couldn’t get rid of.

Took 3 days for someone to change a lightbulb. Communication at this hotel doesn't seem very good. The girl working at night was not very helpful for a variety of reasons. Asked her the second night why the light wasn't fixed and she couldn't tell me if someone came to look while i was gone. Had to ask the guy the next morning and it was as if there was no request even made to look into it. Bought a beer and thought it was a twist off cap. Had to go back down to get it opened. The least she could have done is offered the bottle opener before I went upstairs. Was pleased with the breakfast except for the strange guy who would come over and ask me questions. I think he asked me if I wanted a drink. Both times i had a coffee in front of me. Could do without those weird interactions. Also could have done without those slamming doors. With all the technology we have, why do hotel doors need to be so loud? The room was nice but again, these ridiculous showers with a doorless opening that lets water flow into the bathroom and soaking the bath mat. Horrible design!!!!!! Would be a great hotel if they could get their communication/ co-ordination skills up and get a better shower design that keeps water OFF of the bathroom floor.

Wir waren ein paar Tage an Saar und Mosel unterwegs. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Allerdings der Empfang ein Reinfall. Unser gebuchtes Comfortzimmer war nicht gereinigt. Mein Mann teilte das der jungen Dame an der Rezeption mit. Er bekam den Hinweis, dass es wohl falsch eingebucht war und Karten um in einem anderen Zimmer einzuchecken. Deutlich kleiner, man konnte sich kaum umdrehen. Ich fragte daraufhin nach. Wohl schon genervt, dass wir schon wieder ein Anliegen hatten, bekam ich zu hören, dass zwei Kissen auf dem Bett lägen ( nur eine Decke), dass sei dann ja wohl ein Doppelzimmer. Es gäbe "keine Kategorien und man bekommt was frei ist". Die Decken würden ausgetauscht. Also downgrading bei einem Fehler statt Entschuldigung und gleicher Standard. Wiedermal ein Beispiel für Servicewüste Deutschland. Unprofessionells Verhalten....der Kunde ist ein Störfaktor.

Dass wir mit unserer zentralen Lage mitten in der historischen Altstadt bei Ihnen punkten konnten, freut uns sehr! Wir bedauern, dass Sie unseren Empfang als einen Reinfall ansehen. Es war leider ein menschlicher Fehler, Sie in ein Zimmer zu einzuchecken, welches noch nicht gereinigt war - bitte verzeihen Sie dies. Jedoch freuen wir uns, dass wir Sie direkt nach Ihrer Reklamation in ein sauberes Zimmer der gleichen gebuchten Kategorie umziehen lassen konnten! Da wir uns in einem alten kernsanierten kaiserlichen Postgebäude befinden, sind all unsere 100 Zimmer unterschiedlich was Größe und Raumaufteilung betrifft. Gerne haben wir die vorhandene große Decke in zwei kleine getauscht. Ein downgrading war dies in keinem Fall, denn es war wie erwähnt ein Zimmer der gleichen von Ihnen gebuchten Kategorie. Wir werden trotz allem nochmals mit den betreffenden Mitarbeitern sprechen und gegebenenfalls nachschulen und möchten uns nochmals für den Fehler zu Beginn entschuldigen.Wir hoffen, Sie ein weiteres Mal bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen, um Sie dann doch positiv von uns zu überzeugen. Het hotel is basic, maar erg netjes en gelegen op een hele leuke plek middenin het centrum van Trier. De bedden lagen niet erg goed (en beetje hard en slechte kussens). Ook na het vragen van een ander kussen was dit helaas niet zo goed. Maar het is prima voor een paar nachtjes. Parkeren achter het hotel is beperkt, maar parkeren in de City Parking op een klein stukje lopen is prima. Verder was het ontbijt boven verwachting. Niet heel uitgebreid, maar wel voldoende, lekker en tot laat in de ochtend. Fijn verblijf gehad.

Loved the rooms except for all the noise in the back of the building. So loud until late. Breakfast was nice and the gym is tiny but everything is very clean. Nice beds and AMAZING shower.

The staff st the Front Desk was really very kind and helpful, the room was big and modern and the shower great. Breakfast was very good and varied and I loved the Roman theme decoration all around, very appropiate considering the Roman past of the city of Trier.
