What a fantastic place to stay at in Northstar! It was very clean upon arrival. The only downside was we realized how out of shape we are with it being on the 3rd floor with the higher altitude haha but other than that would highly recommend and stay here again!
This place is a gem. A few minutes walk from the village and lifts. With enough snow coverage one can ski back. Recently renovated, well equipped kitchen, vaulted ceilings bring in lots of light and make the place look bigger.
We had a great time staying here, easy walk to lifts and town centre (a bit harder when the storm came in but manageable)...being ski in back at end of day is nice.
Apartment great, well appointed and comfortable... definitely recommend.

Great property walking distance from the village. Bathroom was nice and kitchen has all the things we needed! Host was friendly and communicated back quickly. Definitely will be back!
Decent condo good for families. Excellent location - easy walk to the lifts. It is up three flights of stairs, so a warning to those who don't like to schlep their stuff far...
We spent 10 days visiting family in Nevada City, touring Yosemite National Park, and finishing the week at this very nice VRBO in Northstar Village. The condo was very comfortable and the access to the pool, spa, and pickelball courts was icing on the cake and a great way to finish the week.
So happy we found this gem of a property. So close to Northstar, so convenient. Super clean and super cute! Wonderful host, very responsive. We will definitely stay here again.
We really liked the proximity to Northstar ski resort. Condo was clean. Only draw back was shower door would not close completely. Also would be nice to have cooking pots and pans that aren’t so scratched up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
This little slice of heaven was exactly what I needed for a weekend away. The location is superb and right across the parking lot from Northstar Village, the gondola and a load of beautiful trails. It’s also far enough away from the village that you don’t hear all the partying going on and kids screaming. ;) You could definitely ski in/out - just note a very tiny uphill section from the property. Parking was easy, hosts were dynamite and I can’t wait to go back!
This was a very cozy and clean place that provided all the necessary basics. It was perfect for two adults and a teenager. We loved that we could ski from the slopes right to our condo. Be aware, if it has recently snowed when you arrive, the trek from the parking lot and up three flights of stairs is a good workout when "moving in."
We enjoyed our stay in a condo. I appreciate simplicity of instructions and no hustle during check out. One tip: for guests staying there during winter it would be awesome if condo was heated a little more before arrival.
Great location. Easy shuttle to the mountain. My only complaint was that I was cold. I used the space heater to keep warm because the stove didn't adequately warm the room.
Look for further than this lovely 2 story condo for your family's trip to Tahoe. The location is super convenient, trail immediately behind building goes to the closest village parking lot. We were able to ski right to the door step. Tall atrium architecture in this top floor unit makes it feel much bigger. Lots of comfy bedding and extra heaters provided. Stove and large-screen TV worked great. Ski locker on first floor so you don't have to schlep your gear up the stairs. Ample parking right out front. Convenience of an in-village unit with the parking/space/convenience of a townhouse. Will definitely stay again.
Great property and location, though not quite “ski in”
Loved the property and location, a several minute walk from Northstar Village and the gondola to the slopes. Comfortable bed, big living room and full kitchen with all necessary cookware, suited our needed perfectly. My only critique is that the property was not quite “ski in” as advertised. You could ski into Northstar Village, but from there, you had to cross a paved road (and hence clip out of your skis) to get to another snowy path. This snowy path between the road and condo could in theory be skied, but it was a very narrow, icy path that frequently had pedestrian traffic and was partially impeded by a small tree, so it would have been hard to truly ski it. We ended up just walking from the Village to the condo, which was fine; I just thought the advertised description was a bit misleading.
