How can you advertise a game room with air hockey and foosball if there are no hockey pucks or balls that work for the foosball. It's not "hours of fun" it's a disappointment.This home has no "bells and whistles" and feels like an old Motel 6. The carpets are stained, no cushions on the couch, not even a washcloth in the bathrooms, lamp or nightlight. The barbeque barely had enough gas to finish cooking our chicken. There were no instructions for the TV or thermostat. I have rented a few houses in Tahoe Donner where you know the owners care. I cannot say the same for this house.

Overall nice place could be cleaner

Upon arriving and checking out the rooms we noticed water bottles that were left behind and not picked up by cleaners, there were towels in the dryer that we took out and folded. Also in one corner of the down stairs had a spot that was full of cobwebs that had not be clean in some time. The coffee pot was full of mold. The location was great and was just a short drive into town and the amount of beds was perfect as there was 9 people in our party.

My group and I had several glaring issues with this property. Check in was a disaster. The door code given to us did not work. We tried to contact the owner's, but they did not respond. We had to contact Vrbo directly and after 2 hours, we were able to get the code for the emergency key. The Vrbo lacked basic necessities such as soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. The Vrbo has strict cleaning rules, but did not provide trash bags or cleaning supplies to complete the chores. The Vrbo claims that is sleeps ten people, and while there is bed space for ten people, there are less than ten pillows and blankets in the cabin. This made sleeping ten people very uncomfortable. The hot water barely worked. After about two showers, the hot water would completely run out and would take hours to heat up again. There was an unplugged carbon monoxide detector in one of the rooms. I am unsure whether this needed to be plugged in or was just clutter they left in the house. Overall this was a poor experience and I would recommend everyone to avoid this Vrbo.

Grandma’s Snow Place!

Beautiful, spacious, and lots of snow. One granddaughter slept through the ride home and then cried because she wanted to go back to Grandma’s “Snow House!”
