This is truly a little gem in Trujillo and right on the main square. We stayed there because the choice of hotels in Trujillo was a bit limited and we did not regret it. The staff was very helpful and the hotel offered a nice restaurant which was more than welcome since we found most of the restaurants that offered Peruvian cuisine were closed. Sure there are other dining solutions but we found the choices limited to junk food so the hotel restaurant was more than welcome. The only negative I would say is that if you are staying in a room facing the plaza de armas then be prepared for a noisy evening until late in the night. The Peruvians like to party on a weekend and plaza de armas is one of their favourite locations in trujillo 😁 will definately stay again at this hotel in the future but in a different room 😁

This is a great hotel and the staff is amazing. The location is perfect for tourists, because all tours meet at the Plaza de Armas—which is where it’s located. There is a nice restaurant, pool, and the rooms have big comfy beds and pillows. My room had a big tub and hot water, the only downside was the shower had minimal pressure, so baths were the only options. Laundry service is cheap and turn around happened the next day. And finally, the breakfasts were absolutely exceptional! Thank you Costa del Sol for a fantastic stay! :)

Lovely staff, great breakfast, convenient location. There were some minor cleanliness issues with the bedsheets (stains), but I am sure the hotel will pay closer attention to this. Overall, a great experience.
