Winter in Mystic Island is just as magical as summer at this serene, year-round cozy waterfront cottage with private dock and tranquil water views.

Summer guests will delight in boating, fishing, crabbing, swimming, kayaking and use of the hot tub (seasonal) at our oversized waterfront beachy backyard. In the winter, the same setting shines with quiet waters, an outdoor wood-burning firepit for chilly evenings, and plenty of cozy comforts inside including hot chocolate, tea, and coffee, extra blankets to warm up with, and plenty of board games, books, and streaming TV to unwind.

The property boasts a stocked kitchen complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and all the necessary drink ware, dishes, utensils, pots & pans, blender, toaster, etc., allowing you to savor delicious home-cooked meals. Essentials such as towels, basic soaps, a hair dryer, an iron, as well as air conditioning/heating, wall mounted fans, bed linens, blankets, and pillows are all provided for your comfort.

Our home is nestled a short drive from the historic Smithville and Village Green, Renault Winery, LBI National Golf Resort, Long Beach Island Beaches, and Atlantic City offering the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Enjoy local favorites by taking a quiet walk along Graveling Point Beach, hiking the serene trails of Bass River State Forest, exploring the Tuckerton Seaport Museum or Barnegat Lighthouse.

Throughout the winter you can enjoy a festive holiday boat ride along Tuckerton Creek and holiday displays and treats at the Tuckerton Seaport, Ye Old Christmas celebration in Tuckerton, Historic Smithville’s Light Show, Magical Talking Tree, and Dickens Festival, indoor ice skating at The Show Boat Resort and Winter Wonderland at Bally’s The Yard in Atlantic City, shopping at Tanger Outlets, and so much more.

Excellent property

The property was exactly as stated in ad. Everything we needed was there! Outback patio was great! Kids loved being on the water kayaking and swimming!! Owner was very quick to answer our questions! Can’t wait to return next year!!!

Great Mystic Island Stay!

Highly recommend! Great house and location. Loved being able to sit on the dock and enjoy the water and boats. House was in great condition and had everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive.

Hidden Paradise!

What a wonderful respite we found a little over an hour from home! The property is set up so you feel like you're in your own house. Great crabbing and snapper fishing right off the dock. Lots to do nearby. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Cozy Home

Can't say enough of this home. It was clean, beautifully decorated and very well appointed. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor space was great with plenty of seating and toys to enjoy the lagoon. We'd love to return this fall for another long weekend.

Great Fall Get Away!

This home was adorable! Alot of attention to details making it fun and comfortable for our family (including our bernadoodle, Tammy) Our host thought of everything! The "beach" backyard and dock where great with many separate areas to lounge and enjoy the views. Overall great get away and the location!

Cute place and responsive host

We had a nice stay. The host was responsive and flexible/accommodating with a few requests I had before booking. This was a great place for me and my 15 year old daughter. The beds were comfortable and the house had just about everything we needed (although my teenager was disappointed the snacks in some of the review pictures we had seen were not provided ). Sadly, the mid-March weather wasn’t cooperative for us to enjoy the spacious yard, ample outdoor seating and nice view. The wifi was great for remote work.

Relaxing

Rained our entire stay. Still enjoyable even with 2 dogs! Back yard is completely fenced in so we could just let them out. Yard is primarily sand so it wasnt muddy when we brought them in.When inside you can still enjoy the beautiful view from the living room and kitchen table out of the sliding glass door. Look forward to our next visit! Rain or shine!

Little Details

We enjoyed staying in this cute little house with a beautiful view. The house was clean and included so many little details that were appreciated, especially after traveling! Lots of surprises to enjoy the property and create a staycation. The host was very accommodating with our requests and questions, helping us to feel at ease by communicating before and during our trip. And our pups loved it too! Definitely recommend this cozy and peaceful home.

Great End of Summer Spot

My sons and I had a great stay to end our summer! It was the perfect spot! We were able to fish, canoe, and get to the beach. We weren't too far away from the beach and we easily could have stayed just at the house and enjoyed all the amenities that this house had to offer. We wanted for nothing and literally just had to bring ourselves, clothes and food, the rest was there! It was clean and organized. We will most definitely be back!

Cozy getaway

Honesty perfect! If you are looking for a relaxing bay front with all of the amenities to relax, fish or play, look no further! The fact that we brought our dogs on their first vacation had us concerned, but the host of this beautiful getaway made that comfortable as well. The yard is fenced but if you have jumpers like we do there are tie down leashes kept in the yard. Decor is adorable and the entire cottage was recently updated and spotless. We look forward to visiting again!

Sweet little cottage

Beautiful location and a lovely little house to match. Fully fenced back yard added peace of mind for our furry companion. Fantastic outdoor space with lots of seating, and a firepit for after dark family time. We didnt bring our fishing poles but a quick trip to the store 8 minutes away was an easy solution to that. My husband caught a crab that very night. A first for him! The host was very responsive to every question we had and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommended!!! Five stars all around!

Adorable cottage

Such an adorable cottage. The entire cottage is so tastefully decorated in a beautiful beach theme. The beds are very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. The cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen too. We had coffee, snacks and a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us! I personally loved all the night lights since I get up often at night. The owner is super friendly and is easy to contact if you have any questions. She is very quick to respond. The outside space is fabulous! We wish we would have come in warmer weather to enjoy everything offered. You can’t go wrong staying here! We plan to return soon.

We really enjoyed our vacation at this lovely cottage. The location and neighborhood were great. The cottage has comfortable accommodations and the backyard and dock provided a great view of the water canals any time of the day!
