This is a fantastic property! It's still locally owned and managed by the best staff. The prices are reasonable, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the property well maintained. You won't find a swanky jazz lounge in the lobby, but you're guaranteed to get a comfortable clean room with great ac and premium cable. Plus this is a fantastic location and has the warmest and most welcoming staff. I cannot recommend Flamingo Suites enough!

Simple, cheap, and clean.. . Don't expect extra towels or any kind of amenities other than a bar of soap, but you'll get a cheap good night's sleep with ice cold AC.

Check in ends at 9p.. do not recommend if traveling late. Parking lot is gravel with pot holes. For me I'm Allergic to lysol and they use that in the office so I was super sick the whole day.

I liked that the room was clean and cool but all eyes on you people are sitting outside in groups and you can feel them staring and if your on the bottom floor they are standing by your room listening. Beware of the cleaning lady that looks like she just played tennis. She is quick to run ba k go the owner. However with that being said I did sneak my little 3lb chuaua in and they kicked me out. Second after they accepted payment for 3 more nights. No refund just effed. They didn't care one bit. Cold hearted white older ladies. It was uncomfortable all the way around if you don't like being stared at every move you make. It's like hall monitors on every stairwell.

First off they never told us that you have to check in before 9:00 p.m. or else you lose your reservation with no refund. When calling the front desk lady to ask if they had washers and dryers she took the opportunity to let us know at 8:45 that she would not be there past 9:00 to check us in, we were only 10 minutes out and the woman refused to stay! I offered her a tip as an incentive but she had a really bad attitude and said that she was not staying past 9:00. That was not made known to me anywhere when I was making the reservation so I ended up losing all of my money with no refund! Not to mention she was extremely rude and had no kind of hospitality at all! she was the worse front desk person I have ever encountered and I travel to many hotels! What kind of hotel does not stay open past 9:00 to check people in? This is the worst service I've ever had! That woman that was over the phone at the front desk should not work hospitality she was everything but hospitable! Also they should make sure that when people are making reservations it's more known that they close the office at 9:00! I write a lot of reviews and will be continuing to write reviews until I get a refund! I will also share every bit of this experience with everyone I know and discourage anyone I know to go into this hotel! I see now why it's only a one-star hotel you get better service at the gospel rescue mission!
