“We were hoping for a property with enough space for a gathering of the family to celebrate recent birthdays and a Golden Wedding Anniversary, and the farmhouse offered us amazing opportunities! As soon as Kelly welcomed us and showed us round, we felt 'at home'. The sense of family history added to the experience, and we really enjoyed the privilege of living there for a short time. Everyone from the age of 5 to 75 was comfortable in the range of spacious rooms, and our requirements for sleeping……

“Clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped flat in peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed our stay. The instructions for collecting the keys could have been given more prominence in the welcome email. Other than that small point this was faultless.”

“I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. The heated indoor pool was amazing and saved our holiday as it was raining most days we were there. There were also many inflatables in the pool which was a nice touch. Everything in the house works, oven, hob, hot water,……

“We loved our stay very much! Our Kids (11 and 13) enjoyed the walks with Hovis, the Shetty. London is easy to reach by train for day trips. Nice talks with Sally and Malcolm, they are very welcoming.”

“This property is just amazing. Full of character and charm and so very well suited to the large group that we were. From under 2’s to grandparents in their 80’s, it was spot on Offering high chairs, potty’s, travel cots and plastic child friendly plates etc, as well as swings and garden toys, our great niece and nephew were very well catered for The house is full of nooks and crannies, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and read or have forty winks! And what can we say about that……

“We stayed in this little cabin by the woods for a month and it was fantastic: quiet, peaceful. comfortable and refreshing. Jeremy was a great host and helped us with anything we needed. The location is just delightful for sitting on the verandah with a cuppa or a glass of wine and watching the heron and the kingfisher on the pond. If you are looking for a break from the constant demands of daily, working life, this is the place for you.”
