The Krone is a fully updated hotel and felt so good to be back after 8 years. Fully updated modern rooms and lobby and restaurant! Updated car park. You couldn’t find a better location. Also independent hotels like this need to put that in big bold letters. Independent not a chain of hotels

Was greeted very friendly when we arrived- had a great lunch at the restaurant- they where very accommodating to my wifes dietary needs and restrictions. Enjoyed the property and ammenties as it felt like we had the entire upstairs to ourselves with the fitness center and patio. The room was clean and comfortable with all the right touches. Breakfast the next day was fantastic with plenty to choose from and good quality. Overall staff was fantastic and friendly!!

Great location next to the river and within easy walking distance of the historic centre. Breakfast was high quality with a good choice. The only downside was that the air conditioning struggled to cope with the 33 Celsius temperature we experienced on the night of our stay.
