Enchanting farmhouse with park, private pool in Maremm - Tuscania

We spent an enjoyable week at this lovely property. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the villa was as describe on the web site. It was very peaceful and relaxing and there were lots of interesting places in the area to visit. So if you are looking for a relaxing place in a beautiful part of Italy we would definitely recommend staying here, we had a fab time.

Perfect! Perfecto!

My family and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa. The surroundings were breathtaking, with an authentic Italian atmosphere that truly made us feel like we were experiencing the best of Italy. The villa was spotless, and the interior was thoughtfully designed, capturing the essence of an Italian summer with its warm, welcoming decor. The property itself was beautifully maintained, and there were plenty of cozy spots to retreat for some quiet, personal time. The highlight of our stay was definitely the pool—it was stunning! The crystal-clear water, paired with the hot Italian sun, made it the perfect place to relax and cool off. It really added something special to our vacation. Marina was incredibly helpful and always just a phone call away. Her responsiveness made everything even smoother, and knowing she was available if we needed her gave us extra peace of mind. Overall, my entire family had a fantastic time, and we can’t recommend this villa enough!

Relax in the countryside

The Villa is remote and surrounded by nature. You can enjoy nature's calmness. Usually it used to take up to 20 - 25 minutes to drive till the closest beach. It looks that Villa is in a distance from the sea but the swimming pool compensates it. Villa well equipped, it has everything (including wi-fi) that You could need during Your stay . At least it has variety of moka coffee makers, also espresso coffee maker. Just one bedroom is equipped with Air conditioning, but it is not a problem. Despite the fact that outside temperature was above plus 30, inside it was cool. I have read somewhere that if there is no AC in Tuscany it means that it is not needed, so it is true. Villa is suitable for family with children. Owners - Marina and Walter were very friendly and helpful. The most important thing for us was that both of them were speaking in English. They provided a lot information on Lazio and Tuscany, also on beaches and places that were worthy to visit. Also Marina provided guided tour on local food providers. Thanks Marina for great time.

It’s a lovely house with very nice owners on site

What you need to know: we were very happy there: impressive outdoor space divided into a well-kept garden with pool and two seating areas for relaxing and for dining . Outside this fenced area is another even larger less manicured garden for your private use with wood-fired oven, rustic bbq and outdoor dining area. So an abundance of outside space. Inside the property it is reasonably cool and well-kept. 3 bedrooms upstairs, but one, with twin beds has an uncomfortable sloping roof. One double bedroom downstairs. All bathrooms are wet rooms. One bedroom with air con, the others with electric fans. Good WiFi both in garden and house. Kitchen well equipped. The very nice owners sleep in the same building with a separate entrance and are very discreet. The nearest town and shops are 10km away and the beach about a 25minute drive one direction and Lake Bolsena 30 minutes inland. For wine: buy the local sold by the litre on tap, excellent historical sites nearby. Good holiday. Have to say mosquitoes not a big problem but really bad house flies as you are in the deep countryside: tip - when preparing food have an electric fan near by as it blows them away from your work area. Indimenticabile

Fantastico soggiorno della famiglia allargata, 7 posti comodi con cane, casa piscina e pertinenze suggestive ma comode. Paesaggio vero, storia che trasuda dalle zolle. Giusto mix tra isolamento e vicinanza a paesi/cittadine suggestivi . Proprietari disponibili e amichevoli. Indimenticabile.

Wunderbarer Urlaub!

Wir haben mit 3 Kindern und einem Hund Urlaub gemacht. Es war eine tolle Zeit😊. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet alles was man braucht. Das Grundstück und der Pool ist ein Traum. Die Vermieter sind super freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit! Egal ob wir Fragen oder Anliegen hatten, es wurde sofort darauf eingegangen😃. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!!!

Jederzeit gerne wieder

Die Gastgeber sind mehr als Freundlich, zuvorkommend und absolut bemüht den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Bilder vom Haus und Garten zeigen leider nicht wie schön es wirklich dort ist. Das Haus ist wesentlich schöner als abgebildet. Die Einrichtung gibt alles her was man braucht und es funktioniert alles, selbst der Abfluss in der Dusche. Der Garten ist riesig, komplett umzäunt und man ist dort alleine. Keine Vermieter und keine Nachbarn. Der Pool war immer sauber, die Filteranlage funktioniert tadellos, ab und zu ein paar Fliegen mit dem Cacher rausholen und top. Das Wasser im Pool war zwischen 25 und 28Grad warm. Ein schönes und sehr gutes Restaurant in Laufweite (10-15 Minuten). Nächste Orte Tuscania und Tarquinia etwa 15min mit dem Auto, Strand ca. 25min. Kaum Touristen dort. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

As great as advertised

We travelled to Montebello with 3 kids, 2 grandparents and a dog. My wife's cousin was a last minute addition which was absolutely no problem for our wonderful hosts. Marina and Walter greeted us warmly on arrival and showed us all the amenities which were as described and more. All our expectations were met and our hosts were fantastic and always available for any required help, while discreetly being in the compound. Suggestions for tourism visits, food shopping, eating were proactively provided and much appreciated. Any problems were handled quickly and easily. Our hosts even travelled back late at night after Marina's tour performance to be available for our departure the next morning. The house and compound is in great condition and provided space for all 8 guests plus our dog. The highlight during the heatwave was of course the pool area which was large enough for all, plus the beautifully decorated house for those who preferred to have their quiet space. All in all, we can fully recommend this destination and its wonderful hosts, especially for those who would like a peaceful spot close to the Tuscany coast and just an hour from Rome. Thank you so much Marina and Walter for a wonderful vacation!

Traumhafte Villa in absoluter Ruhelage

Mit viel Liebe eingerichtete Villa, abseits gelegen, daher herrlich ruhig! Traumhafter Pool... alles wie beschrieben, einziges Manko: wir waren leider in einer außergewöhnlich heißen Zeit dort, aber es gibt nur EINE altersschwache Klimaanlage, die man höchstens für 4 Stunden im Stück aufdrehen darf (dann eine Stunde Pause) und leider nur in EINEM Schlafzimmer. Trotzdem haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt!

Settimana stupenda in una villa incantevole

Siamo andati nella villa di Montebello per rilassarci e stare in famiglia e con gli amici. La casa, il giardino e la piscina sono tenuti molto bene ed i proprietari sono gentilissimi.

La vacanza perfetta

Cercavamo un posto tranquillo dove trascorrere le vacanze e lo abbiamo trovato in questo angolo di paradiso, lontano dal rumore della città. Le immagini rendono bene l'idea della bellezza della villa, ma solo andandoci si può apprezzarne appieno l’atmosfera. I proprietari, Marina e Valter, hanno saputo infondere alla villa eleganza e allo stesso tempo semplicità, creando un ambiente piacevolissimo e di grande fascino, in armonia con l’ambiente circostante. La loro cagnolina, Tuscia, è rimasta nei nostri cuori. Contiamo di tornare di nuovo!

Relax e archeologia a Tuscania

Proprieta’molto curata, ampi spazi comodi, non manca nulla, bella la piscina (comodissima per i bambini) e belli gli spazi all’aperto. Nelle vicinanze meravigliose tombe etrusche e stupende chiese romaniche. Che dire, siamo stati proprio bene, i proprietari molto gentili ci hanno dato utilissimi suggerimenti :))

Beautiful farm house villa. Well equipped, clean and tidy. Lovely hosts.

Had a great week. The villa is isolated in rural farm land so a car is needed. Just what we wanted for a relaxing holiday. The pool was well maintained with plenty of areas to sit in the shade or lounge in the sun. The location has various medieval towns to visit and is close to the sea. Marina our host and her husband live on site and were available if needed but did not intrude on our privacy. Would highly recommend this villa as a place to stay.

Bewertung tolles bauerhaus

Thank you you for the great stay in the beautiful Farmhouse. The Welcome from Marina was super. She took Care of everyone. The House is Clean and beautiful, As well as the Pool auf the Outside area. The hole Family felt very well and they have had a wonderful relaxing holiday. The beach in transquina is although very beautiful with great waves and dark Sand, but it is very hot.

Idealer Ort zum Chillen, als Ausgangspunkt für sightseeing, mit Kind und Hund

Wir waren 3,5 Wochen mit Hund dort. Das Riesengrundstück ist vollständig eingezäunt und unser Hund hatte nur Freilauf. Super tolles Haus, Bilder entsprechen voll und ganz der Realität, gross, gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet, alles da, was man braucht, ruhig gelegen. Vermieter sind super nett, hilfsbereit, großzügig und gastfreundlich. Für uns, als 1. deutsche Gäste haben sie extra ihr Sat TV auf deutsche Programme erweitert. Gasgrill, Pizzaofen, gut ausgestattete Küche, WLAN, verschiedene Chillecken, ein megatoller Pool.... Wir haben es uns richtig gut gehen lassen und konnten runter kommen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit Auto schnell erreichbar, leckere Pizzeria fußläufig. Italien pur, keine Touristen weit und breit. Wer Trubel braucht: Rom ist in einer guten Stunde erreichbar und zum Meer braucht man ca 30 Min. Hundestrand 60 Min. entfernt. Rundum empfehlenswert. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Vacanze etrusche

Siamo un gruppo di 10 persone tra amici, parenti e "amici pelosi". Abbiamo soggiornato in questa incantevole villa ad agosto 2017. I proprietari Marina e Walter sono semplicemente deliziosi e sin da subito ci hanno messo a nostro agio. Hanno saputo consigliarci sia per i posti da visitare che per quelli dove gustare un ottima cucina del loco. La villa è una delizia degli occhi con un arredamento molto curato che le da un fascino speciale. La vacanza è stata serena e molto divertente. La location si trova in un territorio storico dove si uniscono arte e divertimento. Sicuramente torneremo a trovare Marina e Walter come se fossero dei vecchi amici. Un ringraziamento e un saluto da tutti gli amici di Roma. M. Grazia

Charming house in a quiet environment

I spent two weeks with my family in this nice property. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is well equipped, including (besides standard appliances) a modern barbecue and a large flat-screen TV. The house has an ample and well cared garden, with lawn and Mediterranean vegetation and a wonderful pool, which we enjoyed a lot. The property is very well maintained and the area is extremely quiet. We also enjoyed the nice town of Tuscania, with a well-preserved middle age center and several excellent restaurants. It lies only 10 km away. Marina and Walter are very nice persons and were excellent hosts and did their best to make our stay a success. We felt at home since the first day! I can recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet and welcoming environment and would certainly come back in the future.

Merveilleux !

Très belle et grande propriété avec tout le confort. Propriétaires aux petits soins avec nous si nécessaire, mais pas envahissants. Jolie piscine de 10 x 4 mètres avec un jet d'eau. Merci pour cette magnifique semaine.

Merveilleux !

Très belle et grande propriété très bien entretenue et avec tout le confort. Propriétaires aux petits soins avec nous si nécessaire, mais pas envahissants. Jolie piscine de 10 x 4 mètres, prof. 1,40 m avec un jet d'eau. Merci pour cette magnifique semaine et votre disponibilité.

De très bonnes vacances!

Très belle maison de campagne avec un beau jardin et une magnifique piscine! Situé à 1h30 de Rome et à côté de jolis villages comme Tarquinia, Pitigliano à 30 min ainsi que le lac bolsena,les termes de saturnia...des supers vacances!! Les proprietaires sont présents et habitent dans un appartement dans la maison mais complément séparé avec une entrée sur le côté. Marina et son mari sont des personnes très sympathiques et gentils.
