"The rooms were spacious although the jetted tub seemed outdated and a waste of space. The location was good with a short 15 minute walk to the main part of downtown. The bistro breakfast that was included was good but the service was so slow. I highly recommend getting their right when it opens at 8am and plan on it taking a solid hour or more. They were training new staff, so hopefully speed improves with time. Perhaps a simplified menu of one type of egg for full the Full Breakfast dish would help speed things up or move to a buffet."

"The whistling kettle was a great home away from home place to stay. Everything was provided from coffee, to fresh eggs, butter and bread to soap pods for the washer dryer The bed was very comfortable, the room was very spacious and it was easy for us to fix breakfast. The hosts were willing to interact whenever we needed help or had a question. We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable setting."

"Great location, minutes from downtown but in a quiet neighborhood. Parks nearby for walking our dog. Very clean, and lots of storage areas. Really enjoyed Chafe’s Landing in Petty Harbor for dinner 3 nights in a row! Well equipped kitchen and all supplies were more than adequate."
