「We absolutely love this place. It is a hidden gem and we wish we had known about it decades earlier. We could not get over how beautiful this property is, how millions of stars light up the sky at night, how the Tittabawassee River looks like a mirror. 「Good times」

「We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

「We had a fantastic time, with so much to do outdoors, our 5 boys had no problem falling asleep completely exhausted at the end of the day. It’s a mix between “Glamping” and “camping” the cabin was super cute. Has a full fridge and microwave, with an outdoor grill. There’s no toilets or running water in the cabin, but the main lodge has showers and toilets and a full kitchen to use, and the cabin is like 50 feet from it. We had a blast and the kids have asked to come back here every year from now...

「Very nice house in walking distance of downtown East Tawas. Great fenced-in backyard that our dog loved running around in. Plenty of space and comfort that put it several steps above an up-north "cabin" and made it feel a bit more like home. Host was very responsive and communicated quickly and clearly. 」

「Meals out on the deck, hot dogs cooked over a fire, several nice hiking trails nearby. Tricky to find, but clean, secluded, relaxing and comfy bed. Has fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, washer & dryer. Didn’t use all those myself, but someone else may who reads this review!」

Plenty of great views and lake access, along with room for our off-road vehicles (3) in the massive driveway. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway in the Secord, Gladwin, Houghton areas. 」

「You might want to do more research before you book here. FYI this cabin does not have a bathroom. It is situated on an old Boy Scout Camp, and the bathroom facility is in the main lodge of the camp. There is a cabin within just a couple feet of this one, so there isn’t any privacy. The manager was kind, and since our stay did not match the description of the property, he did work with us to make it right.」
