    Great place to stay

    The Hoot is a lovely place to stay. Clean and comfortable with countryside views. Quiet and peaceful. Everything you need for a holiday is provided inside and the outdoor area is great with a covered heated area. Richard, the owner, was welcoming and helpful.The Hoot is about a 30 mins walk into Rhosneigr and 15 mins to the station. Would definitely highly recommend.

    Lovely short break!

    What a find! The Hoot was perfect for me, my partner and our dog. The place is so cosy, and decorated beautifully. Great spot to visit Anglesey, we popped out every day for a new adventure. Loved the wood burner on an evening to keep us cosy. 100% would stay again. Thanks!

    Amazing stay

    We had a wonderful weekend at the Hoot. Location is spot on. The Hoot itself is just gorgeous, the decor, view, everything was perfect. Would absolutely stay again & the hosts were fantastic.

    Just Perfect

    Such a fabulous find for a few days away in Anglesey, we stay in Anglesey a few times every year and the location was just perfect, a few minutes drive from Rhosneigr The Hoot was in a beautiful location and the accommodation was just stunning. The hosts Richard & Gill were so friendly and helpful We will definitely be visiting the Hoot again - Dora loved it there xx

    A brilliant place for a tranquil treat

    We had such a lovely time here and would definitely come back and recommend it to others! The Hoot was immaculate and provided the perfect base to relax after a day out exploring. The views are lovely and we felt really comfortable here - wish we'd stayed longer! Half hour walk to Rhosneigr with a few food options and a gorgeous beach. Hope to come back again!

    Stunning cabin just a stroll away from Rhosneigr

    We absolutely loved our stay at The Hoot. The interiors are stylish and cosy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfy. The location is perfect for walks, beach trips and switching off completely. Highly recommended. we’ll definitely be back!

    A wonderful weekend stay

    Me, my husband and our dog came to stay for a long weekend and we had a fabulous time! The Hoot was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed! The fire was lovely to have on in the evening and made it feel really cosy. The only negative was that the shower pressure wasn’t great but other than that, we were pleased with everything. Location was fab and we met the owner who was very friendly! Would recommend for a short stay :)

    Enjoyable Week in Wales

    Richard was the perfect host. The Hoot is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The views are stunning and our furry friend enjoyed access to the land nearby. There are lots of things to do nearby, we recommend the Fish and Chips in Rhosneigr. Overall a fantastic place to stay to explore Anglesey.

    Beautiful location

    Highly recommend this beautiful accomodation. Perfect location for exploring the island, stunning west coast. Rhosneigr on doorstep . South Stack Rhoscolyn New borough Aberffaw and Tredarr Bay all in easy reach along with many other gems. Also good for plane spotting

    A cosy little hideaway

    Despite some spells of wild weather we very much enjoyed our stay. The Hoot was warm, clean and comfortable, with extensive views over the fields, and a really good little wood-burning stove for when it turned chilly.. The owners and neighbours were friendly and helpful. A memorable little holiday.

    The Hoot a beautiful place to stay, everything you need and all high quality. Very clean and tidy. Fantastic views and walks from your door.     Fantastic weekend in The Hoot

    The property is a fantastic little studio, ideal for a couple retreat, and super dog friendly. Access is down a little lane just o/s Rhosneigr. Kitchen has everything you needed, and rest of the studio was clean and really well set out. Cant fault the stay. We highly recommend The Hoot, and we will certainly be returning at some point.

    Perfect break, in a peaceful countryside setting. Friendly welcome from the hosts on arrival. Spotlessly clean, cosy accommodation with lovely views across fields.     Would 100% recommend

    I absolutely adored The Hoot, Such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space inside and out with everything you could need. A beautiful view over the fields and the horses visiting each evening added to the serenity of the place. I felt like I was in the middle of nowhere but actually The Hoot is in perfect reach of all of Anglesey’s wonderful offerings. Gill & Richard were really great hosts, warm and accessible. I will definitely be back!

    Fabulous Location

    The Hoot is almost perfect. Fabulous views and very comfortable. The endless supply of logs was greatly appreciated over the Christmas period where the weather was truly awful. The only thing missing was a TV Aerial which meant I couldn’t watch live TV. I could watch iplayer and Netflix but not ITV and Channel 4 and 5. Especially at Christmas this was a deal breaker for me. I wouldn’t return unless a TV aerial was installed. It’s the only thing that lets The Hoot down in my opinion.

    A gorgeous week on Anglesey with the dog

    We found The Hoot on a 3rd party website and booked it on a whim. Booking was made so easy by only requiring a small deposit upfront with the rest payable a few weeks before. It had never really crossed our mind to visit Anglesey but we are SO glad we did. On arrival, Richard was so helpful, made us feel so welcome and at home, making sure we knew we could take the dog out into the garden etc and giving lots of local tips for food & drink. So often you can feel like you're invading someone's space when accommodation is on their property but Gill and Rich were so friendly. The BED was like sleeping on clouds... if you know where the bedding is from, please let me know! The lighting was gorgeous, the utensils and appliances available were sufficient for our week long stay and the heated outdoor area was perfect for a few evening drinks. The digital guidebook was pretty comprehensive and gave us all the answers we needed. Everywhere on the island is no more than 30 minutes away and there is so much to see/do and if you need more, Snowdonia is also only 30 mins away! It seems we weren't the only ones who didn't realise how beautiful Anglesey is and I've already shared the link with 5 friends Thanks so much for a lovely week!

    An unreal stay in the perfect location!

    We can’t wait to come back! We had the BEST weekend away, The Hoot was the most perfect getaway. The comfort of the cabin was amazing, the log burner was beautiful and we were provided plentiful amounts of logs to last us the weekend! The place was easy to find on the maps and although it felt peaceful and in the middle of no where it was actually only around a 6/7 minute drive into the town. We bumped into Richard on our way out one day and he was really friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for the area. We definitely struggled with the microwave oven and wouldn’t say it’s the best to cook a proper dinner with but it provided us some good entertainment whilst trying to do so!! We had everything we needed and more! Coffee pods, little carton of milk when we arrived and some gorgeous shortbreads, the instructions to use everything were very clear and easy to follow! The outside area looked gorgeous although it was a classic rainy Welsh weekend so we weren’t able to take advantage of it! We couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely be returning in the summer months.
