Coastal Suite – Waterfront Harbour Retreat in the Heart of Ucluelet
Welcome to Coastal Suite, a quaint and fully contained guest suite located right on the harbour of Ucluelet. This bright and comfortable suite offers stunning waterfront views and the perfect base for your West Coast getaway. Ideal for couples, small families, or friends, the suite accommodates up to 4 guests and is pet-friendly for one dog.
The kitchenette allows you to prepare your own meals, or you can explore the many nearby cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores — all within a short, scenic walk. Coastal Suite provides a charming blend of convenience, comfort, and classic west coast waterfront ambiance.

BEDROOM + BATH:
Bedroom: Queen bed with plush linens and harbour views.
Additional Sleeping: Pull-out queen-size sofa bed in the living area with bedding provided.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with modern fixtures, fresh towels, and eco-friendly toiletries.
Extra guest fee: $20/night per guest over two guests (maximum 4 guests total)
Pet fee: $50 per dog, plus taxes
KITCHENETTE:
The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, hot plate, toaster oven, bar fridge, kettle, cooking utensils, coffee maker, and coffee press. Complimentary locally roasted Foggy Bean coffee is provided. A BBQ with spare propane tank is located just outside the front door.
COFFEE + TEA:
Start your mornings with freshly roasted Foggy Bean coffee from Ucluelet, brewed in the drip coffee maker with filters provided or a french press. A curated selection of organic Thay Tea offers a peaceful, local way to begin each day. There is a coffee grinder on site.
LIVING AREA:
The living area is comfortable and open, featuring a pull-out queen sofa bed and a Smart TV with Netflix. Enjoy harbour views, or relax after a day exploring the town and nearby trails.
LAUNDRY:
Access to on-site laundry is available, with eco-friendly Mint cleaning laundry soap, safe for the ocean and sensitive skin. No dryer sheets are used.
OUTDOORS:
Step outside to enjoy your private BBQ and watch the boats come and go from Ucluelet Harbour. Experience the local wildlife, including sea lions, and if lucky, spot an orca whale. The suite is within walking distance to the Wild Pacific Trail, Lighthouse Loop Trail, and several local beaches.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The suite is clearly marked with a Coastal Suite sign on the door and is located at the bottom of the stairs on the side of the house. Please note there is one step to enter the suite. A long-term tenant resides on the upper floor and respects guest privacy, in accordance with provincial regulations.
INTERACTION:
Coastal Suite is designed for independent check-in. Guests receive a detailed Welcome Guide before arrival, and Blue Crush Vacation Rentals is available by message if you have any questions during your stay. Long-term tenants reside in a separate home on the property and fully respect your privacy.
LOCATION:
Centrally located in Ucluelet, Coastal Suite is within walking distance of the harbour, Village Green, Aquarium, cafes, boutiques, restaurants, and seasonal farmers’ market. The suite offers easy access to the Wild Pacific Trail and other natural attractions, while keeping you close to the amenities of town.
GETTING AROUND TOFINO:
Getting around Tofino is part of the adventure! The scenic Multi-Use Path (MUP) runs through town and is perfect for walking, biking, jogging, or strolling.
PUBLIC TRANSIT:
Hop on the West Coast Transit bus for easy travel between Tofino and Ucluelet (and stops along the West Coast). It runs seven days a week with frequent service—and you can find routes, maps, and the full schedule here: https://bctransit.com/west-coast
Other easy options include:
• Bike & e-bike rentals for cruising town and trails
• Rideshare via the Coastal Rides app and Tofino Taxi (limited drivers)

KNOW BEFORE YOU PARK:
Tofino has paid parking in many downtown and beach areas, especially in peak season. Signs and pay stations will show rates and time limits—typically hourly in effect May through October during daytime hours.
You can pay at kiosks or use mobile apps like Honk Mobile or PayByPhone to make it easy.
Tips:
• Parking spots are enforced daily; always check signs.
• Free short-term parking and resident permit options exist in certain zones.
• Consider alternative transit or bikes to skip parking hassles altogether!
WILDLIFE & QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please respect the peaceful surroundings and the wildlife that frequent this coastal area. Due to wildlife keep all food items inside and cars secure.

Pull-out couch equipped with queen size bed with bedding provided located in the couch. An additional fee of $20 per guest per night is added, for all parties over two people.

- A long-term local tenant resides on-site in a private suite as per Tofino bylaw
- Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee plus applicable GST, PST, and MRDT taxes
- Pet fee: $50 per dog (1 dog max)
- During peak summer (June 15 – Sept 15), a 3-night minimum stay is required; bookings must be back-to-back
- Mid-season rates apply on winter long weekends and Christmas
- A 3-night minimum stay is required for all Canadian statutory holidays
- Discounts of 5–10% available for stays of 7 nights or more (not during peak season); please contact us to apply
- Monthly stays: PST and MRDT do not apply, and system service fees are discounted — please reach out for a quote
- No smoking, no parties
- Cancellation: 100% refund minus a $50 cancellation fee plus GST if cancelled more than 30 days prior; non-refundable within 30 days of check-in
- Direct Booking Damage Deposit: A damage deposit is held at check-in and released five business days after check-out, provided no damage occurs

- Follow hot tub etiquette or it will have to get drained + be charged to the person that booked
