“Very good place for going to Cape Reinga and located at town. Peaceful and quiet even it’s next to the highway road. Stuffs are very nice and good services.”

“The Hotel is a bit dated and needs a refreshing. All the lights on the way to our room were off and most disappointing, the pool was closed due to an outage. This can happen of course, but any kind of compensating this, was refused. We would have expected any sign to adjust the loss of using the pool area. It is that that reception was not willing to do so. As a consequence we did not use the restaurant on our second day. This behavior is not a 4 star hotel behavior. That's a pity.”

“Beautiful little house , great central base to adventure from…location is excellent, peaceful setting , upon arrival lights left on “9.00pm”, locally made hot cross buns , honey and milk waiting for us, such a nice personal touch. Two parents, two adult children and two “Well” behaved dogs, had a wonderful time. Highly Recommend. 6 ⭐️ Rating.”

“House is in a beautiful location with beautiful views. The house is unique, an interesting design, and the host was friendly and accomodating. However the house is quite musty in side and the furniture seriously needs updating, with sofa springs sticking out like they it come from an op shop. All the bathrooms and kitchen need upgrades and we found the house very expensive for the quality of the property. Despite this we did enjoy the location.”
