「The hosts were very communicative and made us feel welcome. The home and amenities were better than the description. The property narrative undersells the actual experience. We hope to return again next year.」

「Beautiful cabin in a very peaceful area, lots of trees. A little drive to the lake, but far enough away that you're away from other people. It was a nice escape. My family had such a great time for my birthday trip...we appreciated all the toys, games and extra availibilities around the cabin. Beds, furniture, extra pillows and blankets were all super cozy. I didn't want to leave! Haha.」

「We loved our stay. We traveled with two small children and loved how accommodating this home was. It’s in a beautiful location and the home itself was well equipped with essentials and leisure activities.」

「After a long day of hiking, we were so happy to come upon our nights stay. The shower was great! The downstairs where the kitchen and living room is located did not disappoint. We enjoyed having lawn chairs to sit on and watch all of the activity on the water with a glass of wine. We did not cook but the kitchen was fully stocked which is appreciated. Thanks for the stay!」

「The cabin was well outfitted with things we appreciated: paper towels, games, cards, extra blankets, plenty of towels, spices, and cooking oil. The fire table with the mosquito netting around was perfect for dinner time and for cooking s’mores. we appreciated the Bigfoot theme and the children really enjoyed playing in the creek. Thanks very much!」

「Great location for exploring canal, Olympic a little further but we spent two days in the park. Hot tub a real plus after a long day.」

「Very cute and clean tiny house. Perfect for our 1 night stay!」

「The location on the bay was awesome! The highlight of our stay was kayaking in the morning when the water was calm and the seals kept us company. The hosts were easy to contact and quick to respond. They made this part of our trip so smooth & stress free!」

「Thanks. Nice location!」

「My daughter has been struggling with health issues for 8 months. She is getting ready for surgery and we needed a getaway where she could just rest. This place was perfect. From the moment you walk in you can tell this place is designed with relaxation in mind. The bottom floor is truly geared towards kids, us adult kids too , with the shuffleboard, arcade games and tv. There is even a little reading nook with games, books and puzzles. The second floor is amazing. The pictures don't even do it...

「This pet friendly property was incredible! When the tide was in it was like being on a house boat! Very convenient to restaurants stores hiking. The host was VERY responsive to the few minor issues that arose.」

「Clean, quiet, well-appointed house on beautiful lake! Good spot for fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing. Comfortably slept family of 6 adults. Sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars is the best way to end the day! Would highly recommend this house.」

「The house is amazing, access to the water and dock are great. The kitchen is really nice, but it’s not as well-stocked as the kitchens in other houses we’ve rented. I love to cook, so I may expect more than the average renter. There are no Tupperware or bowls with lids for leftovers, no bags to store anything either (I’m used to at least sandwich-sized ziplocs). Cooking for 9 was tricky, but we made it work. The beach is rocky, so shoes are recommended. Our 10-year-old was exploring the water...

「Beautiful lakefront property with fully stocked kitchen and lots of room for everyone to spread out.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights stay on the Hood Canal. We watched sunsets on the dock and stared at the glassy water and watched fish jump. The house is very comfortable with everything I could possibly want available. It’s easy to tuck in for a cozy fall stay. I look forward to coming back when it’s warmer and getting on the water with a paddleboard or kayak.」

「The waterfront location and beach access were beautiful, and the house itself has a lot of potential for a relaxing getaway. The communication from Recreation Stays was also excellent, and the cleaning team was wonderful and clearly took pride in their work.Unfortunately, there were several issues that kept the stay from being as relaxing as we had hoped. The hot tub needed maintenance and cleaning, and several of the jets were not working. The towels were also worn and not in good condition. I...
