「The coziest little cabin nestled in a deeply wooded and enchanting area. It was clear how much intention the hosts had put into it, and they were extremely attentive when checking in to ensure we had enough water and wood. The outdoor shower worked wonderfully and was a new and refreshing experience for us. I suggest getting the sauna fired up before you hose off if the weather is cooler so you can go directly into luxurious warmth! Truly lovely people and cabin and I would be happy to visit...

「I really enjoyed my getaway night here. The room was like a small apartment, very neat and clean; a few small details could be adjusted, but they were minor and I had great communication with the staff when I needed to find out how to work something. Comfy bed as well, and there’s a beautiful walk right next to the lake, which is only a few steps to get to. I would definitely come again.」

「The place is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the stay. The only thing is that there's no privacy screen for the washroom window and the washroom is facing the road.
Location is good, 30 mins from the Algonquin provincial park West gate and 20 mins from Huntsville. Overall a good experience staying here.」

「The setting was beautiful, a shimming lake and a burst of colour from autumn foliage. Unfortunately the cottage was lacking. Shower door won’t stay closed, not a dresser, shelf, or hook for clothing, oven not clean, rack in backwards and fell out, extreme floor slanting. But, the most upsetting was the Lack of Communication with the host and the agency, The Muskoka Waterfront Retreat. We wanted a 3 night reservation, but mistakenly entered 2. When we received confirmation, and realized our...
