“We stayed with a group of friends and our kids (6 adults, 4 kids). The cottage was clean and well equipped. It's on the Muskoka river and swimming off the dock was a highlight for everyone. The hosts were responsive and helpful for the few questions we had. The only issue we encountered was that the cottage does not have great water pressure, which was challenging from the perspective of having showers, doing dishes, and getting baths organized for the kids. “This cottage is Heaven away from Home. Enjoyed our hikes, time by the lake, reading on the porch and enjoying the sound of the rain on the cottage roof early in the morning. Such a beautiful, romantic getaway!”

“We loved the peacefulness of the river being right there. I loved that downtown was so close. But it felt like being faraway. Only problem with our age was all the stairs. Our one pet had to be carried up. Which was hard to do. Other then that awesome stay. Loved it”

Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .”

“We arrived on a Thursday when the sun was shining. We sat on the comfy chairs at the water and enjoyed the quietness of the water and area. The home is lovely inside with inviting space for many people. There are 3 areas to enjoy a meal depending on your crowd size. The beds were comfy, pillows maybe not so much, but that is a personal preference. We had 5 adults in total staying at the time. There are 3 spaces to shower, while we tended to use the ensuite shower. Would recommend the property……

“Marjan's cottage was perfect from the very first day we checked in! I stayed here with my family including my dog so I'm very happy that this cottage was pet friendly! Marjan had 2 bowls for my pet and even had a wonderful enclosed deck where my dog could play and be safe. The check in process was very easy as Marjan communicated with me in a timely manner and told me what to do to check in as soon as I arrived on her property. The kitchen, the living room, the dining room and all 4 bedrooms……

“Overall, a good hotel that’s conveniently located. The continental breakfast was great with many options to ensure a healthy meal. The only problem experienced was our room on the ground floor was very noisy. They put us in another room but the heavy stomping from the floor above persisted and once again, woke us up at 3 in the morning. ”
