The good reviews have got to be fake. I’m not looking for 5 stars, I was just looking for a clean place to take a break from camping, and this was not it. While the people I interacted with were delightful, the room was pretty gross. The toilet had not been cleaned ( it only had toilet cleaner squirted into it and was visibly dirty inside and out), the shampoo/conditioner left on my nicely folded towels had been used (they were less than half full with clearly worn labels), the beds had hairs from other people in them (I slept in my sleeping bag on top of the bed), and the table/surfaces had clearly not been wiped in a long time (both dust and sticky residue were an issue). The property itself is beautiful, so if you are not concerned with cleanliness, go for it, but definitely don’t get duped by the fake reviews like I did.

The property has great potential. It just needs to be cleaned up. The bed and bathroom were clean but the toilet needs to be fixed..tippy. The coffee maker wouldn’t heat water - and I never did get the TV to work A kettle would have been better Just a few easy fixes

I booked this room for my husband while he went on a solo road trip. Guest experience was amazing! One of the kind staff made him a cheeseburger at night when all the restaurants were closed. The property is 10 steps away from a beautiful view of the water and trees. We’re planning on staying here again in the future!

I LOVED THIS PLACE!! We only stopped here for the night but I would have loved to have stayed longer. The property is absolutely beautiful, there is a nice place to sit by the lake with a fire pit. Ricky who was the staff working went above and beyond for me and my mom. I have MS and I’m always falling. I had a falling episode and Ricky was so concerned and helpful I really appreciated it. This place is so clean and so cute. I for sure plan on staying longer next time I’m through here. It’s a real gem. There is a bit of noise from the highway but that’s the only negative thing I could possibly say and it’s not that bad. Also, though we didn’t eat here other than breakfast the food that was being cooked smelled absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Ricky!

Stay for the scenery
Staff was very helpful and checked the room. We had stayed before so we made this a stop. Unfortunately our sink was plugged and there was garbage under the beds. Other than that, sheets and room were clean. No lights are left on at night so be careful. Will probably stay again. Beautiful scenery.

The room was very dirty, the toilet had brown all over the bottom of the seat, there were dead flies in the tub and on the floor in the room, as well as dead flies squished on the walls. Stay away.
