“This is the sweetest little cabin in the most spectacular setting. And Barb is very helpful. Highly recommend a trip here - cabin is cozy and outdoor shower is a treat. Outhouse is excellent with a non-smelly composting toilet.”

Pool is clean but is shared with two other Vrbo rentals on the property. Fire pit nice touch by the lake.privacy between the three suites is a challenge.”

“Great air-conditioned cottage. Lots of space and private from the road. Some small cosmetic issues, but nothing that bad The beach at the end of the road is rocky, so you will want to be sure that you bring water shoes if you're planning to go to that beach. No place near has firewood available, so make sure to pick some up as you drive up to the cottage. “When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. Super clean and a real nice quiet place to stay. Will try to book again when in Cape Breton. ”

The natural environment was great with ocean, stars and the green views.
